Very satisfied with our purchase of the TIVO television and installation service. Felt safe in the store as everyone was wearing masks and social distancing.

At some point we stopped losing sync with the video and audio on multiple devices with the TV, which required several restarts that I lost count of. Vizio then fixed this issue and the TV had been less problematic since, but when it was first released, it had other unique issues which suggested not enough testing had been done on these televisions. I used to speak by Vizio's brand and trust their product, but the overall quality of the efforts show. Our 65" Vizio which is a little newer than this 55" that we have had its back-light going out, and that also suggest poor build grade. At worry at some point when I'll lose this TV due to backlight failure. The sound is lacking in quality and leaves a bit to be desired.

Casting 4K videos from Youtube would look great, but the stream would cut in and out of great quality even while plugged into ethernet. Seems like the streaming wasn't great even when using the apps directly onto the TV.

One of the worst tvs I have encountered

Ever since purchasing it, i have encountered problems with it. The built in "Smartcast" system is complete trash, whenever i try to change the audio, it waits several seconds before actually changing the audio, and when i try to play anything through HDMI the TV makes a bunch of popping sounds. I have tried contacting customer support, but instead of helping with any of these problems they send me useless replacement equipment (a new remote to try and fix the volume issue) and never actually fix any of the problems. I would return the TV but you only have 15 days for returns and going through customer support was took longer than that. DO NOT BUY

Was helped right away and they explained the difference in two TVs I was interested in. I ended up walking out with this Vizio and I could not be happier with my purchase.
