Black Screen of Death

I have had the TV for 1 month and had to powercycle it 3 times so far when hitting the home button on the remote just returns a black screen and will not resolve this issue without being unplugged. The remote works well and was easy to attach to my Google Home network.

Wonderful picture, bad audio.

Tried different sources and HDMI cables, but the noise returned no matter what was tried. The picture was fantastic and had many options.

Good price but not much else.

Could not get the coloring right. HDR was ok but too bright and again coloring was off. TV was tolerable with all of the enhancements off. If buying for HDMI 2.1, i would wait to see offerings from Samsung, LG and Sony. Steer clear of this one.

Problems to early

Tried calling the store but they said they aren’t taking calls at this time. Would not recommend this tv to anyone

Great TV for Gaming, general use is ok
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome Tip: When you open the box, use the plastic strap going around the middle to lift the TV out of the bottom portion of the box rather than cutting it. It's a super nice way to keep the TV safe during removal. Overall this is a good budget level TV. It'll run circles around TVs circa 4+ years ago and the picture quality is amazing. The main concerns after opening it up are the color settings to start are atrocious. Everything was washed out BUT this was quickly rectified by moving to different color settings. The gaming setting was what I settled on for most my needs and it does well with a PS4, Apple TV, and other peripherals. The Apple TV had the common issue with enabling Dolby Vision where it's super hit or miss. It turned on in this case but it was so washed over that it was unusable. I could mess with color settings to make it more viable, but honestly I just ended up resetting the Apple TV and not turning on Dolby Vision. In the end this is the perfect 2nd TV for a kid's gaming room, bedroom TV, etc... I wouldn't want it as my main TV but for the price it's definitely a great secondary and the picture quality makes sure I'm not missing the main screen too much. The colors and having to fiddle with everything is par for the course when you're gaming so it's not as much of a complaint when you're doing that stuff anyways. I'd also highly consider it as the first TV for someone moving out on their own or for someone's first place. Again the picture quality seems on par with most TVs I've seen in the sub-$1000 price range, it just takes more effort to get the color dialed in.

To make sure you’re getting the most out of you VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and that you’re getting an HD (or UHD) signal. You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms try using the Vivid or Calibrated setting, for darker rooms try ‘Calibrated Dark’. If you’d like any assistance adjusting these settings, our customer support team would love to help you dial in the TV to your preference, you can reach them at 844-254-8087.

No Audio After Three Days!

We thought we could fix the problem by following all the steps listed on Vizio troubleshooting support page (including make sure the volume was turned up), but we still had no audio from our cable connection, DVD player, or gaming systems. Given that the TV was three days old, the Vizio Customer Service Representative suggested we return it to Best Buy for an exchange. Thank you for the suggestion, except we will be asking for a full refund and keeping our fully functional 10 year old TV instead. This TV was a good value, but when it does not work after three days, we cannot say much about its quality and ease of use.

Garbage right out of the box

Huge, huge mistake. One week in it was experiencing electrical problems. It would randomly not turn on from either the remote or manually. It would not connect to my Wi-Fi without needing to be rebooted. And the color was one of the worst I've ever seen on a TV, Ava I never could get the color to look even acceptable. It was a complete lemon. I don't know what's happened to Vizio, but I will never trust that brand again. I returned it for a Sony Bravia, same size, for 50 bucks more. I could not be happier with it. Don't buy a Vizio.

Manufacture defect?

Vizio makes horrible TV's but worst customer Servi

This all arose from two different defective tv panels that were sent to me horrible image horrible banding. Worst experience in customer EVER

AVOID BUYING THIS TV!

There is a lip sync issue with this model and its really bad. Vizio support doesn't have a resolution yet and its been 6 months now with unplugging the tv 4 times a day from the wall to fix the issue temporarily. Still no fix for lip-sync issues! They won't allow me to return it or exchange it. Do not buy please!

Great overall, just bad "smart" tv
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was stuck between a 3 star and a 4 star because of the functionality of the "smart tv" that uses apps to stream media. The apps are a very limited selection so there are no available downloads aside from what is preloaded. This, for me, required that I use a Roku device to use the apps I wanted to use and was now only 1080p. If you don't mind this, or are willing to purchase a 4K Roku/streaming device then I highly suggest this TV. It is a crisp and vibrant panel and the colors look deep. The black is by far better than my previous 4K tv. Honestly, if it wasn't for the bad interface/app limitations I would give this 5 stars. Overall, I see myself primarily using this for gaming and not the smart TV functionality itself. I do recommend this TV if you have a streaming device lying around.

Don’t try to stream
