    BUYER BEWARE

Buyer beware. I really thought i was doing my due diligence we researching tvs. when i landed on this one the biggest selling point was it said it was 120hz. THIS IS FALSE. This tv looks no better than a 1080p 120hz television. The next thing i noticed was the sound sounds like its playing through a tunnel. I immediately felt the need for a sound bar. I really feel like i got duped on this one. I would say if you are looking at any of the "m" series tvs i would bet you dimes to dollars youd get equally as good a picture out of a lower tiered tv. NOT WORTH 500$!

Hello TonyMisfit, thank you for taking the time to provide us with your review and feedback today! The native refresh rate does NOT fully describe the TV’s motion clarity technology. The “open cell” or “native” refresh rate describes only the glass panel’s ability to refresh the image on the screen, without taking into account the benefit of the scanning backlight. The “native” refresh rate for this TV is 60. VIZIO’s TVs have a Dynamic Motion Rate, which better describes the TV’s ability to achieve motion clarity through the use of its glass panel and scanning backlight. The Dynamic Motion Rate for this TV is 120. I hope this helps! If you have any questions or need any assistance, we are available through text message, chat, or over the phone. Biggest Piece of CRAP I’ve ever Purchased

    Posted .

Personally, I don’t leave reviews. Good or bad, I just don’t have the time... but this tv is so bad I made time. I don’t even know where to start. The power button and volume controls on the side of the tv do not work. The remote doesn’t work half the time. The only way to turn the tv on and off is unplugging it. The smart tv feature is a joke. In fact, it’s so bad I feel like there is a hidden camera in my living room because this has to be a joke. I have reset it to factory setting at least 10 times. I thought it was working ok for about 24 hours when it decided to do an automatic update. Now it doesn’t work at all, I can’t even reset it. It just glitches out and goes to the google screen savers. I’m embarrassed for google to be connected to such a piece of junk. Unless you feel like pulling your hair and leaving a bad review on Best Buy just to get a small piece of satisfaction, I would steer clear of this tv and buy ANY other brand. Sorry Visio, but you have to know you have a problem with this tv and you should be better equipped to resolve the issue when it’s still covered under warranty.

Wish I didn't buy this tv

I can not recommend this TV. The picture is fine, the sound is fine, the issues lie within the OS. Some days I'll turn on the TV and it just sits there with a black screen. If I click the Netflix button, or any other app button on the remote it will promptly open the app. If I click the home button 50% of the time it stays blank. Sometimes I get a message that says Vizios SmartCast is unavailable... cool. In addition to those issues, the sound bar I purchased with it only connects automatically 75% of the time. Sometimes the TV says that the speakers are connect (yeah, they should be, they are plugged in directly to the TV, it's not like we're searching over Bluetooth.) Sometimes it says "no speakers" and I can't turn the volume up (or on), and have to unplug everything. If I had experienced any of these issues on the first 30 days I would have returned it. Save yourself from the trouble, this model is absolute trash.

    Screen flickering

I was debating between buying a Samsung series 8 or Vizio quantum. I went with Vizio. I had high expectations for the Vizio TV. The screen flickers like blacks out while playing Xbox. All HDMI cables are being used. The Xbox, Vizio 5.2.1, and cable are plugged into the tv. The sound bar is set in front of tv. I don’t know why it blacks out.

I've had this TV for a little over a week and I am returning it. The Smartcast doesn't work anymore, the sound makes crackling noises, their apps to download are horrible. You cant download, ESPN, Fox Sports, or HBO. Basically all you can watch are movie streaming apps and no live sports. This TV is not good. Do NOT purchase it. I'm swapping for am LG or Sony.

    Horrible picture quality!!!!!

I just bought this awful TV and tried my PS4 on it and the picture quality was surprising!! My old 2015 LG TV have a much better picture quality than this I really was shocked that i had to play with the picture settings for almost 3 hours without getting any better!! I also tried a 4k movie on Netflix and the results were the same! I’m going back to BestBuy to exchange it with probably LG or Sony! Don’t tell me that this TV had a great reviews from other people or some websites because i’ve personally tried it and it’s really bad picture quality and that really shocked me!!! It might be defected but that’s my opinion about it. No Visios anymore

    DO NOT PURCHASE!!!

Looses channels frequently. Have to scan for channels. When ever there is a national weather service report have to scan again for channels. Seems like I am scanning for channels once a week. Not worth the money. Spend more on a Sony and have a good tv! I bought this tv because of a rating I saw from a popular site on the net. Boy were they wrong!!
