Great job by Vizio
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall great first gen oled tv for Vizio. LG makes all oled panels so keep that in mind when seeing negative reviews about Vizio. Contrast is amazing, and despite reviews on this tv not getting very bright if you juice up the luminance it gets quite bright. Gaming on ps5 is excellent. Movies look incredible with Dolby vision. My one con is you do get a bit of artifact on sdr content but hopefully Vizio will address this soon. If you want to step into oled’s without breaking the bank this is a solid choice.

Great OledTV with fixable flaws
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tv features and performance started off pretty rocky but with each update they peeled back a layer of crud. Now I'm happy to say after 4 updates and hopefully 1 more general stability update coming soon the tv performs like a champ. Image clarity and brightness are very good for an Oled. In my opinion slightly edging out the LG CX 2020 series using their own LG panel in the Vizio. If small problems irritate you this is not the tv for you then, get the LG CX. I only have 1 x4k120hz source (pc) to test one of the greatest features of the hdmi 2.1 spec with a 2nd source coming this week (Xbox series X). I anticipate their being some handshaking issues but should work more than well enough until the next update. I picked this over the LG because of price and Vizio has 2* full speed hdmi 2.1 ports (48Gbps), LG 2020 has 40Gbps ports. That reduction may have a future downside implication. I can't give this Vizio 5 stars yet as there are still some audio issues with sound drop outs while watching ota programming (could be my antenna/location), small video probs, and occasional Google assistant problems controlling the tv. The lack of Amd Freesync support after they initially said they would support it is another minor let down but the VRR spec built-in is a similar replacement feature.

No problems, picture is not as good as in store
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before I bought this OLED TV, I checked out the reviews. A mixed bag. I decided to buy it. I have not have any problems. Updated as it should have, turns off and on. My grandson's Nintendo Switch plays perfectly,as well as his XBox (not one of the newer ones). My only complaint is that the picture doesn't look as perfect as it does in the Best Buy store (was this meant to be deceiving?) I have made a number of adjustments in the picture settings. It still does not have that "wow factor" like in the store. The TV picture looks "richer and cleaner" in the store. (special store settings to sell them?)

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pictures is amazing. Didn't have a manual is the box so had to go to YouTube for setup. That not the best imo. Vrr doesn't work with my Xbox series x.Thats a huge issue.

Amazing
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this a few weeks back now. I am an Xbox gamer and this TV has been absolutely worth every penny so far. the picture quality from my previous TV is astounding and it was a good TV. however as a gamer, VRR is the best thing about this TV. no more screen tearing and frame drops on my Series X. Also, the 120hz is great, but I tend to go with the 4k60 when it is available for the image quality. Watching movies is a dream now too. I regret not making this purchase sooner.

Vizio is a ViziNOGO
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture Quality is outstanding. Everything else is terrible. I purchased the 2.1 soundbar too. Sound is great but controlling it is horrible. 1. Intermittent no signal warnings on hdmi2 and hdmi3. Xbox series X on hdmi2 and Xfinity on hdmi3. 2. Power issues. When I first got the tv I had to unplug it and replug every day so I went and got another chord from Best Buy, I told Best Buy and I had to buy a new chord but guess what it’s shaped wrong so I had to shove this one in too. 3. I turned off Cec because it causes issues when switching between inputs and I think it’s the power culprit. At least was 4. Soundbar turns on without me lol. 5. When turning on the Xbox series x I have to switch the tv input settings on the Xbox from 4K to 1080p and vice versa every time to get the color to display properly. 6. Please fix these things because other models are working just fine. It was 2 stars but I’ll give it three because the picture is great.

Amazing when it’s working.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality is amazing but the tv barely works. It has power issues, picture issues (rarely and usually temporarily) and occasionally fails to save changes to its settings. The picture quality is incredible though, by far the best you’ll get at this price point (especially when it is on sale). I’ve managed to fix or mitigate many of the issues as well (through trial and error, as well as some compromise). Definitely recommend the tv, but if you’re not super tech-savvy or you get annoyed easily, you may want to invest in a more expensive oled instead.

Vizio oled
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great stunning picture !! TV itself needs to be reset at times. Software needs to be more intuitive. No manual power on /off button? Overall a good value especially at $899 not the regular price of $1299

Posted .Hello vjb1327, thank you for taking time to leave us your feedback today. The TV can be powered on and off a few different ways. The first way is using the remote that is included with the TV in the box. The second way would be to use the free VIZIO SmartCast app with remote controls found in the Apple and Android app stores. The TV also does have physical buttons on the back of the TV when you go around the left side, on the back of the TV, next to your inputs where you attach devices to the TV. If you have any questions or need any assistance, we are available through text message, chat, or over the phone. Just go to support.VIZIO.com and click on ‘Contact Us’.

Buy at your own risk
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality of the TV is remarkable and it is nice having a lot of flexibility but the inputs and the software are terrible. The TV has to be reset often because it will not turn on or sync with the sound bar and because this is the best that the firmware is there’s literally nothing you can do about it. Visio is literally selling you a TV that has software that simply is not finished and does not work properly. You are experimenting as soon as you open this TV in your house. Not cool!

Great picture but buggy OS
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great picture but the OS needs work. The TV has a great picture, but someone needs to sort out the bugs in the OS. I had it for 3 days and had to have it reset but Vizio tech support. If you can live with the bugs, it's a very nice picture TV set.

OLED wins over QLED
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was skeptical in moving from a QLED to an OLED but let me tell you, this is hands down the most gorgeous TV I have ever owned. I upgraded from a Samsung QLED. I say upgraded because the color quality is significantly improved, truer blacks are actually noticeable. Biggest concern was that OLED is brightness limited to only half (or less) the nits of a QLED. Not a concern at all. In fact, I find the brightness often times more comfortable than my previous QLED.

Worst product experience of my life
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like may others have mentioned in their reviews, the picture is great. But everything else is awful, this TV is full of bugs that have not been addressed in the almost year since this tv has been release. Some of the most basic features of the TV do not work. - Sometimes the TV just doesn't power on - The settings are not retained between power cycles (particularly the luminance settings. - Casting and Homekit work intermittently. For a platform called "Smartcast" Do you like a TV that powers on and remembers its settings? This TV is not for you. This doesn't seem to be a problem related to my particular unit, you can look at other reviews that seem to have the same problems where they have gotten replacements and it hasn't solved the issue. It's embarrassing and probably criminal that Vizio that they would sell a TV in this state. Worst of all neither Best Buy nor Vizio will take responsibility for selling a broken product. I simply want a refund but they hide behind it being outside of the return window. Which shouldn't apply to selling a defective product and advertising features that don't work.

Great TV with a caveat
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great TV for the money. The picture quality is impeccable thru Roku, and other streaming devices. However, there is one "HUGE" problem. For some reason, Vizio has greyed out many picture adjustments if connected to a PC. If you watch movies, and other video content thru your computer on the Vizio, you will be very disappointed, because it is extremely difficult to calibrate the input it is connected to. It may not make a difference if you are a gamer, but if you are a videophile using a PC, it will truly annoy you.

A great display at a reasonable price
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super happy with this TV! While not the brightest, it's perfect for a dark viewing area and the colors are vibrant and rich. The blacks are perfect, and the off-axis viewing is very good. I use an Apple TV for streaming, with optical out feeding a set of definitive tower speakers - and this display works perfectly with both! The Apple TV 4K operates the TV perfectly via HDMI.

Started off great, But...
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent price. Quick and easy online ordering. Setup was very easy. Picture is incredible. Still problem arise because of constant firmware upgrades. The TV always disconnects from sound bar, constant rebooting of TV to fix. Not worth the hassle.

Great Picture and value.
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this TV, especially for the price. As always, be mindful of open boxes. I bought this open-box online from the local store. They pull it out and it had the wrong stand (wasn't attached). I said there wasn't a stand with it and at first the associate said "it's right there". The stand that was returned with the TV was for a different TV entirely and wouldn't work. The store made it right and I walked away happy, but just be careful to check everything when you buy open box.

Not recommended for PS5
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the picture quality and the apps work well. I have too many issues with getting it to turn on. It seems to have issues with gaming consoles. It struggles to switch inputs to my PS5 and regularly blacks out during games and the HDR goes on and off. It even messes up with the Nintendo switch when I go back to watching tv it wont change the input. Any time i turn the tv off after gaming it doesn't want to turn on and when it does its on with a black screen and the only fix is to unplug the tv for a minute and try again. I do that multiple times a week. Only buy if you just use the apps.

Great TV if the price is right
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Excellent image quality when watching Netflix or when another high quality source is pushed to it. There was a update in late December that addressed the HDMI 2.1 issues in terms of ps5 and a lot of the gaming issues. There are still random glitches when the TV starts up when HDMI sources are connected. If you can catch this TV on sale under $1000 it's a great TV but at it's regular price you're better off spending the extra money and going up to the LG CX just to avoid the glitches Vizio TVs are known for.
