Almost perfect
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv looks amazing. Immediately it's better than any LED on the planet. Its brighter than the LG Oleds and has more detail and color to the shadows. No crushed blacks. I have a full review on YouTube Saturday Oct 10 but only downside is they have a little issue when the screen is blacked out, the pixels don't all turn off 100% firmware update is in progress. I cant stress enough how much better this is than anything in the price range. Definitely recommended. b_the_installer

Good picture, ok sound, and meh User Interface
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV has a nice picture. I hung it in a refinished basement as a means to watch TV and it looks flawless. The apps leave some room to improve, and if you buy this -- get a sound bar. I expected to see things like HBO max but it was not there. It's fine for me since I can just stream from my phone. I have Samsungs everywhere else in the house but wanted to try the OLED and the price was right.

Oled Experience
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I previously was using the Vizio V series witch to me wasn’t all that bad considering it was my first 4k tv but after a while i upgraded to this new 4k OLED, worth every penny. The image on this OLED is absolutely stunning. Cant wait to pair this with the series X. Vizio definitely did a good job on this tv considering its their first OLED.

Wait Until Next Year
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good picture for non-hdr video games. When you turn on hdr the picture cannot get bright enough and it’s hard to impossible to see in low light areas of video games. You can combat this by adjusting brightness levels on individual video games but it’s still not perfect. Don’t get this tv if you like watching anything other than video games. Shows/movies and especially sports have a weird effect when objects like arms, balls, cars and so forth are moving. Leaves a blurry trail on fast moving objects. Picture is wonderful if nothing is moving. This happen no matter what settings are enable or disabled. I ended up returning for a different TV.

Pros and Cons
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A lot of plus and minus on this TV. I don't do next gen gaming, but I really enjoyed regular gaming on it. Picture quality was good when I was playing videos from the Smartcast App. It has all the other good things like Dolby Vision, Dolby HD audio pass-through. eArc. Unfortunately, when I use an outside streaming box, like my Nvidia Shield Pro which I am really invested in, the appearance was too judder-y for me. From what I understand, this TV just can't handle motion as well from outside sources like it can from its own content. So unfortunately I'll be sending it back. But everything else was great.

Great hardware, terrible software
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As far as picture and build quality are concerned, this TV is too notch for sure! Unfortunately, even though it has improved over the years, Vizio's Smartcast has always been a terrible platform and that still stands true today. I won't list the problems of had in regards to Smartcast, but you're guaranteed to have at least 1 problem that makes many, if not all, the smart features unusable.

Buggy, buggy, buggy... Did I mention, buggy?
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After having this TV for approximately 3 months, I can definitely say it's not worth the asking price. Multiple issues, some down right ridiculous. Smaller issues stimming from trying to game on it with the next gen consoles (the 120hz refresh rate is nice). From switching HDR on and off by itself when you exit a HDR compatible game and not being able to turn it back on unless you restart the whole game, as well as having no way to play with most settings outside of adjusting brightness or contrast (sometimes no even that, the TV is so buggy, typically you "roll the dice" with what your able to adjust at any given time). Another frequently encountered (and extremely annoying) issue/bug was to not even be able to power the TV on, unless you literally unplug it from the wall. And I mean LITERALLY unplug it and plug it back in to cycle power... But the final straw that done it in for me, was the issues with the panel itself. You can randomly get these red lines along the right end edge of the screen (your experience may vary) and other flickering lines across the middle of the screen. They would appear at random and most commonly during HDR playback. I tried using different HDMI cords, inputs, resetting factory settings on the TV itself, making sure it was always up to date and nothing would solve it. Even had geek squad come out and switch its motherboard to no relief. Inevitably decided to use my extended warranty to replace it with the LG BX. All in all, if you can grab it for something like under $700 and don't mind dealing with these kind of issues (and god bless you if you can overlook so many) than it might be worth taking a shot. Other than that, stay far, far away if you value your dollar and not dealing with a daily headaches from a TV. And coming from a 12 year+ Vizio brand loyal customer, I can't believe I had to leave such a negative review. Here's hoping Vizio gets it together in the future or they may have permanently lost one (and I'm sure many more) customers.

Great Visual Experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Boy oh boy is this TV good. Very happy. For the price I paid its the best tv on the market. It’s 55 inch but feels larger because the bezels are so small. Easy set up process. I wish it ran on google tv os by its no biggie. Deep blacks, crisp visuals. Great lighting. Not too bright. Not too dim. Runs great on Apple TV, Xbox and Netflix. Great upgrade over my 5 yr old M series that still works great.

Great for TV - Needs software fixes for gaming
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Pro: Picture is awesome. Have not seen anything look better. Remote is easy to use, and the Smartcast apps are fast and easy to use. Works great with Vizio soundbar. Cons: Gaming features not working yet. No 4K@120hz or VRR with 4K. Does work at 60Hz. Luminance bug requires resetting to your preference after every input change. Smartcast apps (except Vudu) will not pass Dolby Atmos.

OLED HDMI 2.1 for next gen gaming
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For anyone looking into this for next-gen consoles. I purchased this in prep for hdmi 2.1 and the Playstation 5. In a few weeks of use I can see why OLED is considered the gold standard. For reference, I played about 80 hours of Ghost of Tsushima on a Vizio M series and then have since been using my new OLED and the difference is stunning. I thought game engine was just a buzz word, but you can definitely notice a smoothness to the game with this that wasn't quite there before. The definition between colors and shadows is also noticeably better. I was skeptical at first, wondering if this was an unnecessary upgrade but I know now that TV quality can definitely impact the gaming experience for the better. Can't wait to see 60-120fps games on this. Only gripe, and it's small, is having to switch inputs to get speakers to kick in on Playstation startup.

Great picture some functionality loss.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great picture the only downfall for me is Vizio has removed some of the commands from the remote profile. The discreet input commands and power on, power off are gone, Making Harmony remotes less useful. You can get around the power commands but the discreet input commands being gone are a bigger problem.

Great TV for picture quality, features and price.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this TV. Deep colors deep blacks. Very bright, enoigh for my living room with lots of windows. I read reviews online and honestly, either vizio has fixed all the isses with it stated in reviews or the reviewers are full of it. I have a vizio elevate P series with this tv. They go with each other. I do wish that vizio implemented something like q symphony on samsung tv/ soundbars. By themselves the speakers are decent, bit adding a soundbar makes it awesome. Using the TV speakers as center channel would be awesome. The tv did recognize the soundbar as soon as plugged in throigh hdmi e arc. I also bought the updated vizio voice remote and it paired no problem with the TV. So that concern is also addressed. If you can get it for less than msrp. Go for it!

Great Picture but poor Software and no Bluetooth
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As everyone mentions the Picture quality is very good but the bugs are omnipresent. When you turn the TV, very often you only get a black screen, because the Smartcast App has somewhat crashed, You need to power cycle the TV to restore it , I mean hard core unplugging by power cylcle. Also, the TV does not support Bluetooth speakers or headphones. I assume it was present but it is not. Also, there is no WEB Browsing app not does it support FUBO TV. The APP arrangement is painful and there is no way to remove unused app and keep only what you need.

Posted .Hello Alex, thank you for taking time to leave us your feedback today. This TV is not designed to output audio over Bluetooth. You could purchase a Bluetooth transmitter and connect it to this TV to listen over Bluetooth. This TV also uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device.

Great TV, but HDMI 2.1 is still very new
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would give it 5 stars. But as good as this OLED TV is, Vizio has not finished with the software aspect of the tv. But if you are getting just to watch movies, netflix, or any other of the streaming services, the picture quality is ON POINT. Like me if you have the new XBOX and PS5. Everything is not as smoothly as it could. When updates start to iron out the bugs.

Vizio 55" OLED 4k UHD
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to make sure our bedroom tv coordinated with our other Vizio TV's and opted for the OLED 4k UHD. It cost more than your average 55" TV but when you turn it on, you know where the extra money was spent. We are very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it to others.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the TV for a couple weeks and it's been pretty good so far, I did have some problems with it though after turning off my ps4 and switching back to Netflix the screen started glitching green like something had hit it it was like that the rest of the night and the next morning but then it fixed itself somehow. Other than that really good tv

Great picture lousy software
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I previously left a review that was good pending whether or not the tv was fixed via firmware. 5 months later still experiencing the same issues that have plaqued this set from the beginning. VRR, hdmi 2.1 issues at 4K 120hz, luminance bug where it does not hold in memory and the volume bar not showing up on random times. Also have to pull the plug to get the tv to turn back on after gaming. That’s only a couple of them. If you intend to game on this set move on it’s not worth the headache. I don’t think Vizio will ever fix all the problems.
