Beta Tv
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me save you the headache and stress and don't buy this tv. Beautiful picture for sure but very buggy. Not only that but if you want to use it for the next gen systems dont bother. I returned today and for the last couple days had to constantly unpull it and hold the power button dowb for 10 seconds pull it in to turn it back on. Don't make the same mistake I made by purchasing this set.

Vizio let me down
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv is garbage. It was working just fine at first except not being able to run VRR and only running HDR10 half the time. I bought this in November and I'm outside of my return date which should be 90 days. But its not. Best Buy needs to fix that. If I could return it. I would buy the LG CX instead, giving Best Buy more of my money. Either way, now the TV shuts off by itself and won't turn back on unless you unplug it. There is a built in power save mode that will turn the screen black until you hit the button on the remote. This is not the case though. Save your money and get an LG OLED.

Posted .Hello James, thanks for taking time to leave us your feedback. Sometimes a TV seems to act improperly when a device is connected to the TV with HDMI connections and the CEC setting is turned on. CEC helps with powering the TV on and off according to the power signal the TV receives from the device connected. It is best to troubleshoot these situations with one of our award-winning tech support agents. Please visit support.VIZIO.com and click on ‘Contact Us’. We’ve got agents ready to chat, text message, or speak with you on the phone.

Lots of issues, (used for gaming)
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.this Tv has so many problems, I read the reviews before I purchased it, a lot of them said the tv had some serious issue, and boy were they right. The screen will flicker like crazy just depending on the content and using the 120hz screen will usually result in a black screen on the XBOX series X. (it does work sometimes if you keep rebooting the tv) The picture quality is amazing, that's the only reason I won't return the tv, in hopes that Vizio will fix these issues with updates. Plus purchased the tv on Black Friday for $800 so it would be a great deal as long as Vizio can fix all of the problems.

Amazing OLED picture for the price!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was only a few years ago that OLEDs were painfully expensive and limited to the bleeding edge consumers. That you can get any OLED for under $1500 is pretty amazing. The 55inch Vizio OLED looks stunning, and while the picture may not be quite as clean as the more expensive LG models (which share the same panel) it is hard to beat the price. Haven’t had it long, but loving it so far.

Worth it?
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fyi the base is solid metal, pretty heavy. The interface is fine. The picture is as expected. I have issues with the casting constantly which is highly annoying considering its in the name and how much it cost.

Excellent image quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV has excellent colors and image quality, especially at 4K. It is amazingly thin when you look at it from the side. Only gripe is that Smartcast doesn't have certain apps such as ESPN, CNN, etc. so I have to use an Apple TV for those. Hopefully those will be added in the near future.

Affordable OLED with HDMI 2.1
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First time buying an OLED wish I would have done it sooner. The only caveat to the T.V. is the software with HDMI 2.1 it works with the playstation 5, but does take a little messing around to get it to work. The technology is new and updates continue to come up to get it to work more seamlessly. Overall TV is great would recommend to all.

After all the updates, i finally gave in…
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What a beautiful OLED TV! I love every bit of it! I have yet to find anything of bother to me which is an A++ in my book. It does everything i need it to do without any worries! I will admit there are still some present bugs but nothing that ruined my experience. It handles motion beautifully on Xbox Series X!

You’ll regret it
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do not recommend this item. It’s glitchy and slow, and it’s becoming glitchier and slower with each passing day. Either spend more on the LG that can sustain the OLED technology, or spend less on a smart tv that actually works. I won’t buy a Vizio again (my fourth and last), and I will think twice before buying a television at Best Buy or asking a sales associate for their advice.

lots of software & hardware issues, great picture
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture is up there with the best oleds. But there are multiple issues that are a deal breakers. The tv will not power up sometimes, requiring a hard reset. After unplugging and plugging back in i sometimes have issues with a "no hdmi signal" messages, i upgraded the cable to hdmi 2.1 for 4k60hz hdr gaming. I thought upgrading the cable would help but i still have the same issue. Sometimes the screen gets stuck on a solid green screen and i have to use the menu to switch between hdmi mode between 1.4 or 2.1 or auto. Sometimes i have to factory reset the entire tv to get the hdmi port to recognize the signal again. I stopped logging into all my apps and wifi again because it was such a chore. Variable refresh rate does not work at all, never has. The firmware updates apparently make it all worse from what i read. But when everything does work it has a great picture, until you have to factory reset all over again. Some people have had some or none of the issues i have, but i can only speak to my experience.

Firmware bugs. Newer firmware breaks things!
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this based on price and reviews, but should have paid a bit more attention to the some of the forum chatter about this TV. I wouldn't recommend anyone to get this thing. It's another half baked product that manufacturer will "fix in an update". Hooked it up out of the box and was very happy. Everything worked as expected. Beautiful 4k images. Running HDMI mode 2.1, 4k w/422 at 60hz (which is what my source supports). It was great. Put the TV on the wifi (first mistake), and it wants me to update. I figure probably a good idea and let it do it. BIG MISTAKE. Now it's a flaming over priced 1080p TV. Will not work when HDMI is set to auto or 2.1 mode. I have to force HDMI down to 1.4 in order to get it to display a picture. Now it's limited to 1080 resolution. Total garbage. Have contacted support, but considering they don't link their firmwares on their site or anything I have no hope for a downgrade to get it functional again. Going to return this thing if they can't get it sorted quickly. BestBuy's return window is short on TV's.
