Don’t buy a Vizio OLED

Worries about quality

Have had minor issues with the HDMI input, pretty sure one slot doesn’t work, had to switch tv mode after a few weeks get it the other slot to work again because it randomly decided to give error message. Also had a green screen on all tv channels with audio. Very worried Vizio has gone to poor quality. We have a 10+ year old vizio that we have had zero problems with and now had 2 in 2 months.

But it was getting old and the sound went out. i went to get an OLED and seen an LG. The rep at Best Buy showed me this and it had the exact same picture for 100$ less. purchased and could not be happier. the only thing i do not like is the sound. i feel like the sound quality could be a little better after spending over $1000 on it. but other than that. Amazing

Stay away from this TV

The picture can be great, when it works, but there are too many issues that have not been fixed with firmware. There are several issues that make this TV very annoying. 1. Sometimes if you watch something with 4k120hz, the screen is messed up and you have to go back and forth between inputs before it will work. 2. Sometimes the TV won’t turn on. You have to unplug the TV, hit the power button for 30 seconds, plug it back in and hope that it works. 3. There is a flicker at times when using Dolby Vision.

Distorted sound

Connectivity Issues

It took many hours with geek squad and Vizio customer service with no solution. Replaced with another new TV as recommended by Vizio and Geek Squad and still the same problem. Had to go deep down the rabbit hole in internet blogs to find out some vizio TVs have problems with certain modems. Had to bring down security on my modem to get apps and wifi working correctly. It was just frustrating neither Vizio or Geek Squad had an answer or solution and had to find the solution on my own

Next-gen is a NO NO!

The picture quality is great but when it comes to next-gen gaming it's horrible. The HDMI 2.1 ports don't work half the time and when they do the audio only works while the screen flashes green or goes grey/black. If you're looking to buy a TV for your next-gen AVOID this one at all cost.
