Never displayed without having to switch inputs

Right from the start the HD Ports we’re acting up. I would recommend spending the extra two hundred on an LG brand tv because this product is not high quality, even though it had fantastic graphical fidelity when it was working.

First Gen Bugs?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this, the first non-LG OLED TV on the market in late 2020 and it delivered the picture quality as expected. I had owned two other Vizio TVs, so I was delighted to find this OLED unit. However, within the first year the TV would become stubborn and would not power up. I needed to reset the unit every few weeks, which required unplugging it and holding the power button for 60 seconds. Finally this tactic had no effect, so a warranty call was made to Vizio. After I performed a diagnostic check at the direction of the Vizio rep they scheduled an on-site repair, and within a few days the repairman showed up with the prescribed part. However the repairman was skeptical on the accuracy of the diagnosis, and confirmed it after the repair failed to fix the issue. So Vizio ordered a refurbished unit for me (yay). As I write this today, June 2023, the refurbished TV is showing similar symptoms and my power cycling resets are becoming more frequent. Perhaps Vizio fixed this with later generations but I plan to unload this unit and invest in a different brand this winter.

Waste of money, buy from a better brand

Doesn’t work for PS5

HDMI 2.1 and 120hz does not work for the PS5. It is a known issue and Vizio is always slow to fix everything (if they even bother to fix it).

Blank screen

The settings function is the only thing that worked. Had to uplug for 5 min and plug back in for it to start working again. It happened 4 time the week i had it!

Not worth the money

Had to call Vizio Customer Support 3 times in first two weeks to have them reset and update it to fix. Too much problem for $1400 tv. Also the picture is not that big of a difference for the price

No curbside pickup

They have NO curbside pickup. The chat line gave me a phone number that did NOT work. TV turned on when asked, usually. Not always

Low quality

Horrible OLED TV

to many bugs on a grand purchase!

I’ve tried to like it , but it’s plaque with bug after bug! I’ve had to unplug this tv from the wall multiple times just to try to turn it on, Xbox series x you can’t even adjust the color, making the picture looked washed out! I would skip this tv!

Do not buy a Vizio Oled TV

Light patches on the screen. Wouldn't turn on at times. Sometimes the picture would turn off, but not the sound. We ended up taking it back and getting an LG.

Bad quality control

Beware

Perfect for its price point

People say LG and Samsung make better panels but i disagree this is the best oled panel i have ever seen. Works great for gaming supports 4k 120hz on series x and blacks are truly black. I believe its rated at 119 watts vs the same size tv in regular LED would be over 160-180 watts so definitely power saving there. Smartcast is flawless. Also i did notice heat management compared to a regular LED tv was night and day with the OLED. It might be a 2020 model but its an amazing panel and for the price point you cant find anything better. Hdmi 2.1 is supported. Only complaint ive had is sometimes i have to restart the tv when i switch to my fire stick cause theres a bug that gives me a blue screen. Otherwise it performs incredibly and exceeded my expectations. Big W to Vizio

Vertical White line defect

Terrible
