We replaced our outdated TV in our bedroom with this Vizio and WOW, it is awesome! We didn't realize how bad our picture quality was on our 8+ year old TV until we got this new one! Every color is super crisp and detail is great. We haven't used the multitude of streaming options yet but hope to gradually learn to use all that it offers. Sound quality is great without a sound bar. We had it professionally installed on our wall. We are super happy with it!

I was really excited about this unit arriving so that I could use it as a giant gaming monitor however upon arrival the upper right most corner has a patch of dead pixels. I think this may have occured by our friends at UPS but not sure, but other than this issue....This TV is gorgeous and in my opinion is ideal for next gen gaming. True to life colors, deep blacks, low input lag, AMD Freesync and it looks great in both dark and well-lit rooms. Games are smooth as butter. I have my Xbox Series X connected and I don't think I can ever go back, I also have been playing Flight Simulator with a new Dolby Atmos soundbar connected & it is AMAZING! Game mode keeps games running smoothly, and there is virtually no motion blur. Also, the built in OS and apps run very well. Many smart TVs have software that is clunky and runs slowly, not this one. I am so glad I have this TV and feel like I have future-proofed my gaming rig. 6 people found this helpful

Love this TV! Quantum LED is a worth the buy because these colours are just amazing and quality of image is fantastic! I'm happy with my purchase. It does have a slight delay when switching through apps and back to home page but most of these newer TVs have a similar lag I've noticed. Still worth the money, I did my research online between OLED and QLED which made it helpful with my choice too! Sound quality is good too even without a soundbar, I've heard worse on other big brands. Not a bad buy at all!

Great picture quality, but glitching after 9 mo.

Wonderful TV and picture quality. I purchased at Best Buy in March 2022. I was impressed with the specs and design, which I still feel is superior to anything else in this price range. However, after 9 months it has began glitching with horizontal lines across the middle portion of the screen approximately every two seconds. I am currently in the process of a warranty replacement and/or repair with Vizio and am awaiting their response. I'm disappointed that this has happened because I really did like the TV and spoke very highly of Vizio to friends and family prior to this experience. I am hoping it gets fixed soon.

Great picture quality. I would give 5 stars, but when incorporating a Vizio soundbar that I already had, I have no control of any audio settings besides volume. I cannot adjust bass or treble or balance. Having said that, it still sounds pretty good.

    Colors Great, Motion Horrible

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

You can get the colors to look excellent but you cannot get the motion to be acceptable. I got it close by literally turning off EVERY ADVANCED PICTURE SETTING. That's right, you can't use any advanced picture setting except keeping the local dimming array active. Anytime you add too many of those settings together, motion is so overtly stuttering it's intolerable. I chose the 58" which is an obscure panel size -- perhaps the 58" panel Vizio sources is subpar compared to the more typical 55" or 65", but I should hope not. Whether you are streaming or watching a movie from disc sources, fast moving or even slow but detailed objects stutter horribly. I will be returning the TV because the stuttering is unbearable - it can actually induce a sort of motion sickness feeling. My 11 year old Samsung TV was superior in motion handling to this Vizio (except being 1080p only)! On top of all of this, it doesn't get very bright. I have an LG OLED as well and in the same room, this Vizio is about equally as bright as the OLED... a panel type not known for its brightness. That was disappointing.

Great color very happy with quality. But, the tv powers on randomly after turning off. Spookiest thing! Scares the bajesus outta me sometimes. I switched hdmi inputs, turned off the CEC, software is up to date, nothing plugged into the usb power, and no my other remote is not turning it on. Would not recommend till they fix this problem.

Trash TV, failed twice in 31 months. Support is unwilling to issue a refund or replacement. I'm a 15+ year Vizio customer with 5 other Vizio TV's actively in my house. It's completely unacceptable that this TV fails twice in under 3 years and they are unwilling to acknowledge it's a product defect. Support person was at least super polite as she let loyal vizio customer walk away.

The newer model of something is not always better!

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I have waited to review until we had a few months to shake this thing down and find all the bugs and there are many! This new Visio-58" Class M7 Series Premium Quantum LED 4K UHD Smart TV is replacing a Visio-55 Class M Quantum LED 4K UHD TV that we had for the last 6 years that the screen had a section of pixels fail so we had to replace it. That 55" Visio was the best TV we ever owned with the absolute best picture quality that I have ever seen bar none, so it was a no brainer for us to go with the Visio model that replaced it, we didn't wait to look at one we just ordered it and had it shipped to us. BIG MISTAKE, to start with they moved all of the connections and controls from the left of the TV to the right which meant that all of my cables had to be removed from the entertainment center and re-routed which was a big PIA. The next thing that put me off was it only had only 3 HDMI ports and 1 HDMI (eARC) port for connecting the sound bar, what this means is we have to unplug something in order to connect our gaming console each time we want to play, the old TV had 4 HDMI ports. Next thing we noticed was there were no RCA inputs or outputs which means we can't connect our old VHS player to this new TV to watch our old home videos. Now lets talk about functionality; First thing is the picture quality is no where even close to the quality of the old TV and to us is barely acceptable, we have adjusted this thing to death trying to get a better picture but after working on it several days and having a Tech. out to help with the set up this is as good as it gets. The next thing is the controls are sluggish and most times the volume will skip several levels going up or down and it drops the sound bar connection or just won't establish a connection at all and all we can do is restart the TV and hope it works. The menu is missing a lot of the Streaming Apps that we use and even the Tech. couldn't get them to down load even though we were told that we could. The next thing that I am going to gripe about is the loss of communication between the TV and the UVerse box, again we have to reboot the TV to make the connection. The last thing is the joke of a remote that came with this TV, it has been streamlined with minimal controls and has been switched to a Quasi App based remote which may or may not be better but I'm an Old Dog and I don't like new tricks so we just continued using the Remote from our old 55" and that makes life a lot easier for us. The one positive thing I can say about this new TV is it's very light, 1/2 the weight of the old 55". I do not recommend this TV at all, best advice is to go into your TV center and check them out in person for functionality, sound and picture quality and make an informed choice, don't assume like we did.

Hello Shelby, thank you for taking to leave us your feedback. I understand the frustrations of not having enough connections for all of your favorite devices! Does your sound bar by chance connect to your TV with the HDMI ARC connection and have a pass-through feature? This would allow you to connect one of your favorite devices to an HDMI IN connection on the sound bar at the same time as the sound bar is connected to the HDMI ARC input on the TV. This TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device. If you need any help, please don't hesitate to go to support.VIZIO.com and click on ‘Contact Us’. Our customer support team would love to help you. VIZIO

After all the TVs I looked at, at this price point ($400 to $600), I found that the 58 inch Vizio M Series had the best quality picture, features, and interface (set up, menu, etc). Combining this TV with a good sound bar is the perfect set up for my use in a 12x16 family room. My kids love the SmartCast apps and streaming features. The M6 and M7 on sale is one of the value you will find out there. Strongly reccommend this TV.

Frustrated and still have a broken TV

Thought I would buy a tv from an American owned company. TV worked great for about 6 months. 7 months in tv would come on with sound only and 0 picture. A simple reboot would fix it for a few days and same thing happened again. TV did this 3 times until eventually 0 sound and 0 picture. I thought I did myself a great favor by purchasing the 5 year geek squad plan in case anything happened outside of warranty timeframe. Made my original appointment with geek squad to repair the tv which was easy but one week out. Geek squad tech came to the house on the scheduled appointment day just to say they need to schedule another appointment which will be one week later than the current appointment. So now I’m without this tv for a minimum of 2 weeks. Mind you the timeframe of these appointments are 8 hour windows right now. Update: tv will not be repaired for an additional week since geek squad cannot hold the scheduled second appointment. I also asked to speak with a manager or supervisor but that did not happen since they forward your call to a third party that handles the geek squad. All around experience is unacceptable for longevity of the VIZIO tv and professionalism of BestBuy/GeekSquad, including the third party which hung up me when I requested to speak to a manager.
