||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.There's only about 10 apps already installed on the tv. Out of those apps, 8 of them are useless to me. I can't remove any apps I don't need, nor am I able to download any other apps I'm already subscribed too. The tv states that other apps can be used through the smartcast option, but of course that takes forever to connect, then freezes. Had I known I couldn't download apps, I would have bought another TCL Roku smart TV

Posted .Hello Zizi, The SmartCast input does have limited applications installed and you cannot add extra apps to the input. We are continuously evaluating new applications for possible addition to this screen. In the meantime you can cast any of the thousands of Chromecast enabled applications to the TV from any mobile device on your network. Not the smartest smart tv

I purchased it because I wanted a 4K smart TV seeing as I don’t have cable. The other tv that I bought is superior in every way to this wanna be smart tv. It moves slowly, lags frequently, and has a poor selection of apps to choose from.

Ok for my fisrt smart tv

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After I went through 2 of these TV’s with defective screens, I quickly realized that the screens they use for these TV’s are defective screens meant for the E series Vizio’s. Save yourself the time and just get an E65. There WILL be defects in this tv’s screen.

Worst product

Didn’t work

Unplugged and plugged in. Again nothing. Got an extension cord, plugged into a different outlet, nothing. Unplugged a bunch more time, got the setup screen once but if froze on the WiFi selection screen. Returned and exchanged for an LG which worked right from the first start up. Won’t be buying Visio anymore. We have a small one in the kids rooms which is a bit finicky and the remote is so fragile.

First, make sure the Display is getting a hi-definition or 4K signal. This means making sure that you're source device (like a cable/satellite box) is capable of HD or 4K, and that it's connected to your Display with an HDMI cable that can deliver the HD or 4K picture. You can also change between pre-set picture modes on the display by pressing the PIC button on your remote. This will toggle between a few picture setting that look good in different situations. If your display is in a bright room try Vivid or Calibrated. If it’s in a dimmer room try Calibrated Dark.

No picture after 18 months
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This TV had several problems. First there was feedback through the speakers when is was turned off. Then after 18 months the display stopped working.
