Doesn't last
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Vizio tvs are a great deal for the money, but beware because you get what you pay for. The TVs don't last and the company knows this, and will not stand behind their product. I purchased a tv and after just over a year it developed a huge dark spot on the screen. I called Vizio and they said that this was a known defect in the tv and they would replace it. I had concerns that they would replace it with another defective tv but they assured me that it had been corrected. The new tv again lasted just over a year. When I contacted Vizio again, they said that it was outside of the warranty and that I was on my own. If you do a search on Vizio tv defects, and Vizio tv class action lawsuit, you will see the many, many people that have had a problem with this company. A tv that you spend thousands of dollars on is supposed to last more than 2 years. Just remember you get what you pay for and if you decide to go with a Vizio, I would highly suggest you get some sort of extended warranty because there is a good chance that the tv will not last long after the first warranty is over.

Great Picture Quality, Very Short Lived -- BEWARE
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Screen went black after just 18 months. It is a known failure at Vizio and is so common that this "Black Screen of Death" is easy to Google. Vizio's rep curtly said it can't be fixed so I should simply buy a new one. It is their low quality electronics at fault. I will not buy one of theirs again! This is the worst longevity record for any TV I have had by 6 years and it was also the very worst attitude in Technical Service. In short, Vizio knows it is a common problem but so far it is not fixing it. I do not know the odds but I do know it is a relatively risky venture. You can check out Vizio's problematic reputation online yourselves. I wish I had been warned. Now you have.

Nothing but problems.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Getting this tv has been nothing but an issue. The first tv we received was broke. We did not realize it until we had everything set up. Something even sparked and melted where the screen meets the outline of the tv. We were able to get it replaced and were thrilled. Have the tv all set up and going for 6 days, SIX DAYS, I repeat 6 days and there is now a panel across the bottom on the screen with blue lines. Six days. I mean I get that this is a huge tv, we have the 65in, with many features that doesn't cost you all of your savings but holy moley. Six days and it is not like we just left it on for 6 straight days either. I used to like vizio but after this experience never again. Two televisions, both being 65in and vizio and both had screen panel issues. Don't bother with this because you may end up getting one from the bad batch which happened to us twice.

not really 4K?
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I finally got an Xbox 1S after having this TV for a few months. The Xbox says I can't get true 4K and I don't understand why. Seems like a waste now. I wish someone knew how to help.

Don't purchase a VIZIO
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a 75" Vizio TV 5 years ago. It was a great TV. Then it went out. I took it to the shop and it turned out to be the power supply. It turned out that it is a common problem for this TV. There are no power supplies available anywhere because all of these TVs had the same problem. I ended up having to purchase a new TV. I Paid $3500 for the VIZIO which is now junk. It was going to cost $250 to repair it if only VIZIO had the parts available. I will never purchase another VIZIO and I would advise anyone against that brand.

Beware of Visio
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just finished chat with Visio service rep after my 2 yr old, $2K tv display started to flicker. Informed they performed a diagnostic and tv needs to be replaced as repair would be too costly. After searching online, I found many other posts with same issue. Only thing they will offer is "I'm sorry valued customer." I realize electronics can have random issues, but this appears to be widespread and Visio will not stand behind their product. I I had been satisfied with tv and while not cheap, did seem a good value for the money. My opinion has now changed and my replacement tv will not be a Visio.

Vizio resets
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not buy any Vizio TV. I have what was a 16 month TV and is now a 75inch, 100 pound paper weight. I was just informed that the Panel is defective making it beyond repair. Everything that is said about the performance is true it is absolutely beautiful when it works. But trust me IT WILL FAIL. You will not get any help from Vizio
