Not worth the frustration
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sometimes this TV chooses to take time off. I want to use something in HDMI 2 and the TV doesnt feel like it? I'll just have to wait until tomorrow. You want sound? Roll a D20 and on a 1 you can forget it until a few days later. When the sound does work, be patient with adjusting the volume. It can take upwards of 5 full seconds before the volume input is recognized and if you pressed it multiple times its going to go all the way to zero eventually, then just turn it back up and wait 5 seconds and sound will come back, usually. The VRR is pretty good but HDR looks incredibly unnatural to me. 4k picture is really clear and the motion feels solid. When it works, you'll love it. 95% of the time, no problems, but that other 5% is why I'm going gray. I have two cheap HiSense TVs and while they have very marginally worse image quality, I've never wanted to throw the remote at them. I really hate this television.

NO. DON'T. STOP.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I regret buying this TV. BUT, That's OK because as soon as I'm done with this, I'm going to return it. It's already in the box packed back up. Setup: Once the straps are cut, you can't carry this TV very wall because the bottom will fall out. The handle cut outs on the side only serve function with the straps. The strap broke loading it into my car, so getting it upstairs to my home was not very fun. ADS: Stop this. Vizio PLEASE stop this. I have to first accept the Terms of Service, in order to even use the TV. WHY? Then I have to scroll past ads and forced recommendations to get to the apps that I actually want to use. It's insane. NO I don't want direct content. I should be able to disable these menu and features. But who cares, as long as you have our money right? PS4 Issue: I have high speed cable plugged into all of the ports. (I know it's not a 2.1 system) You cannot change most of the Picture settings when using a PS4. They are grayed out. WHY? The only way to change these settings, like SHARPNESS, is to unplug the hdmi cable, change the setting slightly and plug it back in to see if it does anything. From reading online, it seems like this is a known issue. But nothing has been done to fix it. YAY! Sound Issue: I plugged in my Vizio Soundbar via the Optical input. NOPE!!! 1 hour of fiddling, changing, power-cycling and frustration later, the TV FINALLY let sound come out. What changed? NOTHING! The settings like surround sound, TV speakers off or on were all set during this hour. It just didn't work. THEN, once I got it to work, you have to adjust them TV sound and the soundbar sound individually or the Soundbar will either do nothing or be too loud at low volumes. Now I know what you're thinking, maybe it's because it wasn't ARC. But NOPE!! I tried that too. Same issues. 20mins of nothing and then when it came on, had to individually set the volumes, even though the TV remote DID control the soundbar, and prevent it from turning off, even when I turned off the soundbar. Picture. Banding.....BANDING, BANDING!! The color gradient is HORRIBLE. I'm watching a movie with the Sun rising over the earth. ALL YOU SEE is this huge halo around the sun and then earth. It looks horrible. The local dimming zones are bad. I had to disable them several times in games, movies and shows because they would leave patches of splotchy black in random places...even on a uniform gray chalkboard. On the PS4 it's blurry. I mean REALLY blurry. small text, facial features, anything that should have sharp edges looked dull and blurred, and remember, you can't change the setting unless you plug and unplug many times to dial in the sharpness. (which btw I noticed slight change) HDMI 2.1 doesn't work. HDR made the game look reddish. No voice control. It froze while trying to calibrate it 3 times. It randomly shut off Netflix and Hulu 7 times mid shows. Just went back to the menu for no reason. The remote became unresponsive several times when in menus and settings, causing me to have to have to try to hit the power button the side of the TV...which did not work, and I had to unplug and power-cycle the TV. I have owned a Vizio for 4 years and Power cycling was an issue with that one. I'm not doing this again. I'm done. NOPE! It's going back when I hit submit.

Perfect for next gen gaming
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have enjoyed this TV so much. It is the perfect budget TV for next gen gaming. The PS5 looks amazing. The only thing this TV doesn't offer is 120fps. But if you are OK with 4k/60FPS, this is the TV for you.

Not for sensitive eyes
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you have sensitive eyes, this is not for you. The colors on this tv are super vibrant. After about 20 minutes of watching it gave me a head ache and hurt my eyes. I’m sure if you don’t have sensitive eyes this tv works great. We returned it with Best Buy’s great exchange program with no issues and bought something with less vibrant colors.
