STAY AWAY FROM VIZIO. This Vizio TV actually worked great up until they pushed a firmware update that literally breaks both the way this TV responds and it is so bad that I’m honestly thinking of just buying another new TV. Everything from simply changing the volume to changing inputs on my TV. HDMI CEC is completely broken and works less than half the time. When raising/lowering the volume it LAGS LIKE CRAP. I mean it will start lowering the volume still a minute after you’ve pressed the volume button up/down like 6 times. You would think an update this poor would cause them to quickly fix their mistakes. It simply isn’t worth it. Vizio should be ashamed. Again do not buy this TV if you want to save the hassle. I just wanted to point out after this terrible experience I will no longer buy Vizio products. If you bought an earlier product from them it used to be actually worth it. I’ll see if I can add a YouTube video explaining how terrible this garbage is.

I researched TVs on my own for a month. I didn’t know what I wanted. I spoke with in store employees a few time and answers were different. At the end of the millionth day I just said I want a s,art tv with size but awesome color. I6s a good size but I’m really bummed about the color and vibrancy which a cable man came and made sure it was set up to that. I didn’t mean to phrase it was actually pretty good but then when you add taxes and warrantees you’re walking out the door with an 800 and some TV and it’s not what you expected it was kind of disappointing .

At VIZIO we pride ourselves on our highly rated picture quality. To make sure you’re getting the most out of your VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and are set to broadcast in 4K (2160p) or Full HD (1080p). You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms, try using the ‘VIVID’ picture mode for a brighter, more colorful image. If you’d like any assistance adjusting these settings, our customer support team would love to help you dial in the TV to your preference, you can reach them at 844-254-8087. VIZIO

Bought and returned. I’m froogle so price was the main driver for buying this. Was meant for my living room, color was too saturated and the back light gave a haze over the picture

Definitely was not worth the price. I read the reviews here thinking this TV would be a good buy. Unfortunately it wasn’t. I was upgrading from a 2 year old, 55inch 4K Hisense Roku tv. And this Vizio M series had NO noticeable improvement in quality. Colors looked washed out, Dolby vision and hdr had horrible contrast. LED zones were very noticeable. Also, the tv froze multiple times and dropped connection (when using Ethernet cord). It just wasn’t worth the 650$ that I paid. This tv should be worth no more than 350$. Highly disappointed. Guess you have to pay to play. Will definitely be saving for a LG CX OLED instead. I would not recommend this tv. I returned it for a refund.

I purchased a Vizio TV (M-Series Quantum 65"4K HDR SmartTV: M65Q7-H1) in December, 2020 from Best Buy, together with a 2-year protection plan from the Geek Squad. Since then I’ve had number of problems including WiFI error messages (“not connected to the internet”), freezing of the TV screen when trying to load an app, sound/video out of sync). Broad horizontal banding (green, red) appears intermittently on the screen that “float” up the screen. The Geek Squad have been out numerous times, but failed to repair the TV despite replacing many parts. They contacted Vizio who say they are replacing it with a refurbished TV. My problem is that I didn’t ask for a replacement and I certainly don’t want a refurb. I’d like my money returned since I bought a manifestly non-functional TV. Vizio say they are following their warranty procedures. Given my experience, I recommend that anyone buying a TV should look at other brands. Vizio might be budget choice, but they don’t offer a reliable quality product, and they don’t provide service procedures that are actually helpful. Don’t buy a Vizio.

For the price I paid I can't complain to much but I have had issues with casting and had to unplug from power to reboot it to get it to stop glitching when I switched inputs.

One of the hdmi ports have a short. It goes in and out when plugged to our devices. The screen has a couple blue lines that flash in and out on certain picture settings (the best/preferred picture mode of course. It is not a year old yet, so I plan to.reach out to Vizio support. I will update my review based on how customer service handles the situation. It's was a great TV before these issues started, and while we can still use the TV, it is a issue I should not be having on a $750 TV.
