    Have owned only Vizio TVs for years with no problems. I was excited to get a hold of this new model with all the awesome HDR and streaming options, but was greatly disappointed by the screen color uniformity and connectivity issues I kept experiencing. It was so bad that I had to exchange my first one for a second, which still had the same issues but to a lesser degree. I’ve decided to keep it for now, but can’t see myself keeping this tv nearly as long as I kept my previous Vizios.

    This TV has a lot of pros, but unfortunately the cons heavily outweigh them. If you're living in a Vizio eco-system and already have a vizio soundbar, I'm sure your experience will be better. Let's start with the soundbar issue. I use a Klipsch soundbar that connects via HDMI (ARC) and this TV provides the worst support for soundbars that aren't Vizio. The soundbar randomly won't show up as an audio device, changing the volume causes the TV to lag and in turn up the volume by double or sometimes triple what you wanted, and using an optical connection isn't ideal. Next we can touch on HDMI issues, at random, HDMI devices will suddenly stop forwarding audio to the soundbar. You'll have to perform a full TV reboot for it work again. Nice. Google Smartcast implementation is pretty awful as well. Connecting it to Google Home provides you with two identical devices. One being the TV, the other being the Smartcast functions. Trying to control the TV through assistant commands, "Hey Google, turn off the Living Room TV," almost never works because of this. Honestly, just stay away from Vizio as a whole. Spend a few extra bucks and get a TV with Roku or Android TV built in.
