Excellent Product, Excellent Value
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This Vizio M-Series 4K TV has consistently delivered a quality picture with excellent color and tone. I have enjoyed the easy setup that provided a great picture right out of the box. The screen did not have clear instructions how to hang it on a tv stand, so that took some extra research and work on my part, but I was able to use a great stand that had been used for a 45" screen with some careful installation, The screen easily plugged in to my Yamaha AV Receiver via one HDMI cable, connecting this great screen to my existing speakers via my Yamaha AV Receiver thus providing an excellent home theater sound system to accompany the HDR and 4K exquisite picture. This screen clearly upgrades the picture quality of any movie or tv show, but HD, HDR and 4K shows and videos are particularly great and often the picture appears verging on 3D. Now I am enjoying casting to the screen from my Apple iPhone and my Apple laptop via Apple AirPlay and the Smartcast function. I look forward to discovering more of the detailed picture controls and the various means of streaming from diverse apps. I have found that my initial screen picture configurations deliver a great picture and allow for numerous minor adjustments to improve the picture depending on the show or movie that is playing. I find this Vizio a great value for a top quality 65" 4K screen with excellent color and streaming capability. BestBuy was able to deliver the TV on time and with care. Thank you, BestBuy and Vizio for a great product purchase experience that my family will enjoy for years.

About 2 weeks after installation a bright line showed up across the bottom of the screen. The line has been showing up sporadically ever since. Unfortunately, I am going to have to take it down and return this TV.

When playing Xbox one the pic would blink then TV would power off. Could not turn tv back on until I manually pulled the power.

Stay away.

You'll be watching a show on Netflix and it will go back to home page. You try to turn the volume up and it won't go louder then it will get louder a couple minutes later. Vizio warranty is freaking useless. I called, they said I'd get a call back in 3 business days. Almost two weeks later, nothing. I called back and got a recording saying everyone is busy please leave a message and they'll call back in one business day. STILL nothing.

Picture quality is decent for a newer tv but it constantly will bring us back to the Home Screen for whatever reason. Vizio told us to unplug it originally.

Bad service

You can't set the TV up without the remote. Vizio has an APP that works with the tv.... But it only works if you set the tv up... So right now I have a 700 dollar piece of equipment that doesn't work. I asked Best buy if they could hook me up with a new remote. I would have to lug the entire tv back in it's original packing to do a swap. I obviously don't want to do that for a 10 dollar remote. I asked Vizio for some help and the best they could do is ship a new remote out but it will take a full week... ridiculous

During the setup process, you will get the option to connect with either WiFi or Bluetooth. If not able to connect with Bluetooth, the TV will create it's own small network signal to connect your phone with and then follow on screen directions to finish setup. Sound issues NO solution

It has an audio issue where it crackles/pops when people don't speak. When you use an external speaker there is just no audio at all when people aren't talking. I've tried every possible solution, setting ect. They TV has been fully replaced 3 times. Vizio support is also garbage I can't tell you how many times they send the wrong part or can't install something so they just replace the tv all together with a refurb. They won't give me a model upgrade either. I will never buy Vizio again.

So Disappointed

But since buying it we've had nothing but problems with it. The audio is weird with third party apps and blanks out when there is no talking or music. And as of lately, when we turn our TV on with our cable which is Comcast, the audio is off by like 5 seconds. We have to turn the TV off for a couple minutes to get it to sync up again. We also have to constantly unplug the TV from power to "discharge" it. I do not recommend buying this specific TV.

Great Budget TV.

Ease of use: The initial setup was very easy and scrolling through the menu settings and changing settings for picture, sounds and other settings is very easy. It also has different pictures modes to choose from. I liked the bright mode for movies and game mode for playing video games. Picture Quality: Colors are bright and vibrant. And have that pop to them. It is also clear. The tv handles motion fairly well and there are limited settings to change the motion. Sound: The sound on the tv is rather lacking and there are only 3 settings for the sound. You’ll definitely need a sound bar or a pair of speakers to project the voice of actors/actresses. All other sound effects are very pronounced. Only the voices are hard to hear and that’s with the volume up to 60. What i didn’t like is the tv stand legs. In order to have the tv sit on a stand, you’ll need a tv stand that’s at least 53 inches wide. The legs are 51 inches apart and cannot be adjusted. So you’ll either need to wall mount this TV or get TV stand at least 53 inches wide. My recommendation would be a tv stand that is 60 inches wide. But other than that, it’s solid buy that won’t break the bank.

Needs rebooted constantly!

Its now 7 months later and this tv is not awesome. Its constantly needing rebooting! Like, contantly. I have never even had a tv that needed rebooting, ever. My husband is so frustrated bc he will be in the middle of a show and it will freeze up and turn black. He needs to reboot the tv in the settings. Lately its gotten even worse. Now it says the tv just had an update and we have to "reboot" 2 or 3 times vefore it works again. What is this, Vizio?!

Issues with sports and the movement

Crap TV and Useless Service Plan

We have to unplug then plug back in every time we turn it on and even then it's slightly off. Call Best Buy support to use the 2 year protection I purchased... They wont help me and tell me to contact Visio. FRAUD!! Dont buy the protection, it doesnt protect you.

Terrible, terrible quality

Returned. Replacement Vizio had a problem with the infrared sensor. It would not start up. Talked with Vizio. They said it was the remote and would replace it. While I waited, I took my remote to the store and it operated all the Vizio Tvs just fine. Two Vizio Tvs with different major quallity problems. They must have zero quality control. Don't buy Vizio. I switched to Samsung and got a great TV.

Don’t get it

I bought the the TV for my boyfriend’s birthday gift, but it kept having some problems with the sound part. Best busy people showed up and fixed one time , but it didn’t work. And it is not returnable anymore, we are trying to figure out with Vizio people. I didn’t want to get my bf a bad surprise, but we wasted so much time on this TV. Don’t want to pay for full price and get trouble anymore.

Lack of app options

Posted .Hello Horacio, this TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device.

Sound and picture do not match. Every few minutes you have to switch off and on the TV. I did couple it with insignia speakers, an update was installed in TV and they stopped working too. If you call warranty, be prepared to waste hours without getting any help.
