Good Vizio TV for the price

Out of the box, I found the colors flat and had a low contrast haze. I went to some tech sites and tried using there settings but the picture was still dull. I was actually thinking of returning the TV until I found a YouTube video. After 2 hours of videos...and note taking, I finally was able to get a better image. And still, I feel like it needs some work. But at least now, it's somewhat enjoyable to watch. I essentially had to create 4 Picture Modes. One to match each format: Dolby Vision, HDR10, Standard and a Standard 4K. Whew! That was a lot of work. I have a TCL (2018) QLED that was perfect straight out of the box. The image blew me away. I had hoped for the same with this unit. Upon set up, I found you really had to work to get the power cord to attach. I could not get it to read my optical cable. I hope I am able to tweak the Picture Modes a little more to pull out the punch and pop this unit claims to have.

Large Tv. Dark blacks. Great viewing angle. Sound+

The Blacks are black and do not bleed into the color. And are not grayish. The sound is fine without a sound bar.Although I got one anyways. I would suggest getting a wall mount that pulls out and then turns left and right so that no matter where in the living room it is. Any set in the room can watch comfortably. The viewing angle is also great. You can still see the picture with correct colors even viewed at a side angle. The size makes movies and experience!!!!

Two years & two dead Vizio products

Also had purchased very expensive Visio soundbar that died just past the one year mark. Only saved by my AMEX double warranty which covered the original purchase price of the soundbar. Have purchased Vizio products in the past but won't be doing so going forward.

Buggy and Slow

It’s last years M series, haven't even had this for a year. Save yourself the trouble and get a Samsung.

Terrible Picture Quality

Feels like a privacy film on the screen. The pros are the size, the sound, the OS (not Android!), apps, and features. The cons - image quality is very poor. I am returning this TV. Probably will get Samsumg instead or Sanyo (although both Android, which I hate).

PIECE OF CRAP
