Do Not Buy - constant issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We started having problems a few weeks after buying. Tv freezes, turns off on its own, screen will suddenly go black or green, it will lose audio completely or lag behind picture and apps run incredibly slow. Don't even try to screencast or connect Spotify - it won't work or will cause it to freeze. I commonly have to unplug it multiple times a day in order for it to temporarily function properly. I've never had to do this with any other TV I've owned. Best Buy wouldn't do anything to help because we didn't buy and extended warranty and we were one day past their 30 day policy. Told us to contact Vizio and that the TV itself had a 1 year warranty. 9 months later, I have spoken to Vizio I'd guess around 20 times times. They replaced the motherboard, but the same issues continued. They then replaced the TV all together (which we later found out that they traded our new tv out with a re-certified one), but the issues returned a few weeks later. Vizio refuses to refund our money and are again sending us another TV. The people who delivered our first replacement said that they are constantly replacing this TV and that they would never recommended Vizio products. This TV is awful and Vizio is stealing people's money. Go with another brand and buy from a store who will stand behind their products more than Best Buy does.

Not very happy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased the 65 inch V-series September of 2020, which was an upgrade from our TCL 55 inch smart TV. At first we were impressed but things started to go downhill from there. While watching a program the TV reset itself to the home screen. The voices were there but no picture. I had to shut tv down and turn back on. This has been happening lately on a daily basis. We took out the extended warranty through the geek squad from Best Buy and good thing we did. I ended up going to the store and showed them video that I had taken and it has been determined that the motherboard is bad. Part was supposed to be sent to my house and never received it. Called qeek squad yesterday and was told that the board is not available. I am now waiting to here from the technician to see what is going to be done. I was told that they may have to scrap the tv and have it replaced. I am uncertain now if I should upgrade to a different series or go with a different tv. I really don't want to dish out any additional money because I thought the current tv was great for our budget. This is why I am giving a 1 star review.

Not smart for a smart TV
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had a Vizio that lasted 10+years, so I decided to buy another one to replace it. All of the smart features on this new one started failing 2 months after the purchase. It turns on and off randomly, functions like volume or the home button work with a 20-second delay or hitting the remote button many times, the picture of what we are watching flashes on and off or pauses, sometimes only the volume of a movie plays without a picture, power often doesn't turn on without unplugging the TV and holding down the power button for 10 secs. To get it to work for a few days at a time, I have to do a manual reset and/or reset factory settings, which means putting in all the passwords again. I shouldn't have to do this on a new tv! Bestbuy said they cannot help because I didn't buy the additional protection (didn't think I would need it for a brand-new TV!), and Vizio attempted to set up service but no one calls me back. I'm stuck with a lemon of a TV. Don't buy!

Buyer beware picture quility is horrible!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would not recommend this TV. I did research and it came down to Vizio M series and TCL 6 series. The youtube reviews gave the Vizio M65 inch the better review. The picture quality is just horrible! It is blurry. I have tried all types of settings and calibrations. If I knew picture quality was this bad, I would have just bought the V series for $450 dollars. I have a 55 inch vizio and picture is fine. I even set up the new one with same picture settings and still blurry. The signal says coming in at 1080i. I threw out box so cant return it but I am beyond disappointed. I feel I just wasted $720 dollars.

Posted .Hello,
At VIZIO we pride ourselves on our highly rated picture quality. Sites like CNet, RTings, and Reviewed.com consistently rate VIZIOs picture quality among the best in the industry. To make sure you’re getting the most out of you VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and that you’re getting an HD (or UHD) signal. You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms try using the Vivid or Calibrated setting, for darker rooms try ‘Calibrated Dark’. If you’d like any assistance adjusting these settings, our customer support team would love to help you dial in the TV to your preference, you can reach them at 844-254-8087.

Wifi connection is no good.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the second vizio TV I purchased it will be the last. I bought the m series to replace the e-series it worked fine for the first 3 months. Then the wifi issues started. When turning on the TV it says no wifi signal and it takes a few minutes to connect. We watch a lot of apps like hulu or Netflix or HBO-max while watching the signal slows down or actually stops and says we lost connection. So I have to turn off my TV and turn it back on to connect again. I have switched tv providers already and still the same. Worst TV ever

Don't do it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture is not great at all. Other brands have a much better picture. Voice clarity of sound is not good. Cheap remote. In less than a year my 65 inch Vizio got a blue vertical and black horizontal line. Unfixable. Vizio said I was covered under warranty no problem. But what a complete hassle to get another TV. It took nine weeks of phone calls, emails, second rate shipping companies blowing off delivery dates and finally the Better Business Bureau to get another TV.

Won’t last
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great price for what seemed like a lot of TV. But I’ve had two die. Three month after getting my p-series, the LED panel died. I had a picture but black blotches would appear sporadically. Vizio replaced it. Great. Then 14 months in (less than a year on the second unit), the same thing happened again. Loved the tv while it worked, but these are built not to last.

Find a TV with better software
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I hate this TV so much. The software locks up at least once a week and requires the TV to be reset. The only things we use the TV for are Netflix, built-in Chromecast, and HDMI input. Between those three things this TV constantly has problems. Inputs wont display, no sound, locking up completely...every few days its a problem.

Worst TV, no reliability, not worth it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The worst TV we’ve ever owned. It only works fine if you watch it every single day, but we had it turned off for a longer period of time twice in the first year of owning it and every time after we turned it on, we had problems with it - issues with the sound, issues with it freezing all the time. Absolute trash.
