My best friend needed a new TV and I recommended this one because it was the most affordable OLED I had ever seen. He got it and LOVED it — and I was jealous as all heck! The picture was amazing. Every channel looked better because of the improved contrast with the deep blacks and colorful highlights. So, I HAD to get one for myself when the price dipped below $1,500. No regrets at all! One look and you’ll be hooked!

Alot of complaints form heavy users of games and this and that, sure its not an LG or Sony but its just right for the tech its packing and PRICE! 10years ago, I bought the latest 3D 55” Samsung for 3.5x the price I picked this up so I’m ok. Only complaint is the tracking and the wanting to have my CC on the TV Incase I bought a media content, its a bit much from a TV but i got my own streaming device

Everything works great and the tv looks even better. I haven’t really tried the 4k @ 120 yet but I assume it works fine. I wish the stand was a little sturdier but that’s only issue I have with it.

Picked this up for $1,499 on sale and could not be happier with this purchase! Most of the issues early reviewers had with this TV have been fixed with firmware updates and OLED truly is a huge improvement over LED. My previous set had full array local dimming with 64 zones and I thought the performance was good, but this H1 OLED blows it out of the water. This TV, especially when on sale, is an excellent value and the little boost in performance you may get with the LG CX is not worth the $500 difference.

This TV has been a colossal improvement in visual entertainment quality for me. It has turned my living room into what feels practically like a movie theater experience combined with the quality and image fidelity that only OLED TV’s of this caliber can offer. Vizio has truly knocked it out of the park with this TV. The unboxing: The unboxing process with two people was incredibly explained and intuitive to follow, set up was easy considering the side and cumbrance of this TV! There were even labels like ‘grab here’ ‘don’t grab here’ etc. The unboxing and initial assembly steps were easily accomplished between just my friend, myself, and one phillips head screwdriver. The set up: This TV was as I expected given the price range it falls in. Everything was plug and play. I plugged in my Dolby Atmos sound bar via the labeled eARC HDMI port, my ethernet cable into the ethernet port, my Playstation 4 HDMI cable into one of the HDMI 2.1 ports and everything turned on a performed just as expected with no hassle. The soundbar in particular was automatically detected and I am even able to control the volume of the soundbar via the remote the TV came with! Smooth. This TV also offers next level cable management. The picture I took was poor with my flash, but the cable channels in the back of the TV perfectly and smoothly stow away all of your cables and route the down and out the back of the base, really enhancing the professional and high-end look of this TV! The user interference (UI): In reading about this TV before I received it, one of the most common complaints I ascertained was that people felt the UI was choppy, laggy, or not very high quality given the caliber and price of this TV. The TV updated its firmware when I first booted it up and connected to the internet. With the update completed, I feel that Vizio has addressed the concerns of many of the early reviewers. I felt the UI—while lower quality than that of my previous LG TV—was sufficiently easy to navigate and did not seem choppy or laggy at all in my view! The only thing that I saw is that the icons on the Home menu where you can navigate between apps did not look very polished, so perhaps that is what is confusing people. The remote: Thankfully, this is a relatively small knock given the whole of how awesome this TV is, but I just can’t stand the remote. The ergonomics of it feel wrong and it lacks the excellence and advanced features of other companies remotes like the Magic Remote from LG. I also tried the Vizio smartcast remote app on my iPhone and found, much to my irritation, that to utilize the full features of it you have to do monthly payments or pay a one-time lifetime payment to utilize it! I was not happy here. A quarter of a million dollar Lamborghini should not have a crappy steering wheel—a TV of this caliber and price should not have a remote worthy of a TV 10% of the cost! The sound: As I mentioned earlier, plugging in my HDMI eARC sound bar was easy as could be and the TV automatically connected, utilized, and even controlled it with the remote! This is good, because boy do you really need an external audio device with this TV. The built-in speakers vibrate terribly at certain volumes and have little to no base. For example, the TV vibrates with the Stranger Things theme above volume 60. Alas, in this era of making TV’s thinner and thinner, there has to be comprises somewhere, and I feel that the speakers probably drew the short straw. Accordingly, though, I think that most people expect or want to buy soundbars, so this is not the worst thing. The picture quality: As advertised, the blacks are truly so deep and rich as to be expected with an OLED device. To further enhance the image quality, I recommend going into the picture settings in the menu and changing the picture mode to ‘Sports’. This yielded the best contrast and brightness settings I felt. I will be awaiting Tom’s guide or someone else to be coming out with specific calibration settings, but I feel the ‘sports’ setting is sufficient to my needs for now! I have owned 4K TV’s for a few years now, and this one just does seem to blow all the previous LED and nanocell technology TV’s out of the water with this gorgeous OLED panel! Altogether, I highly recommend this TV. Vizio has delivered an incredible OLED TV here that is ready for the new gaming consoles coming out at a truly, crazily competitive price in this OLED high-performance TV space. This TV has transformed my living room into a gaming and TV watching haven and I am sure it will do the same for you!

This TV replaced a 65" Samsung that failed after about 4 years. The Vizio's picture quality is as good or better than the Samsung. I have another Vizio TV in my bedroom that is o er 10 years old. I am sold on Vizio quality and reliability.

Has all the hardware to be a great TV, but is plagued by software bugs that prevent over half the advertised features from working properly. Gaming VRR just plain does not work, the screen glitches out every other 5 min. HDR+ with gaming is buggy and requires hard restarts when switching between inputs, settings reset every other week, and a host of other software bugs. If you don't care about gaming on this TV you can have a good OLED TV experience. If you want to use half of the features advertised for gaming, good luck, you are better off getting an LG.

It has a great OLED panel. Thats about all it has going for it. The actual software is a nightmare. All major apps break, sometimes they don’t even open, and the tv shuts down unexpectedly. I purchased in late July, and it’s already clearly a terrible $1300 purchase. I have to hard boot and unplug it every week to keep my wife from getting frustrated. Either spend more money for an LG or Sony, or just get a good LED panel for the same amount and have a tv that actually works. The price may look appealing but please save yourself the headache. I will try getting an external streaming device to save myself the pain soon.

Picture is great, but firmware is so buggy. I read all the reviews all over the internet and they say the same thing, software is bad. Visio promised an update so I bought it since it was cheaper than the others, but joke is on me. Almost a year later, they still say the same thing and will not warranty the TV

Just bought this 2 weeks ago with a Vizio 65" oled Tv. So this is the review of the sound bar and Tv combined. I am posting the same for the Tv. Combined 2500$ with tax, TV 1400$ and sound bar 1000$ Just awful the only nice thing to say is the picture is pretty nice compared to the LG that I had that got hit by lightning. The rest of it is pure garbage. Ok the Tv was only 1400$ but the remote is awful, App you need to use your phone for except for the 6 buttons on the junk remote. As for the sound bar the remote is even worst. At 1000$ you don't even get a visual set up. You need do set the sound by watching little dots on the bar. There is so many settings I gave up keeping track of the dots. Combined both work worst than each on it's own. TV just shuts off randomly, every time you change inputs it doesn't connect correct (unplug TV to reset) to the new input, To use Netflix ,Prime you change inputs so alot of unplugging. My review is to stay away from Vizio garage. Ok the Tv is cheap but I could understand the junk remote picture nice but not even worth the 1400$ when led with better remote sand interfaces with a little less picture are cheaper but the sound bar is not cheap but no excuse for this crap. Combine the both worst things I have ever bought. Calling Best Buy to return without box. Buy anything else it couldn't be as bad these products. Calling Best Buy today to return this garage with out the box.
