    Love the 55, ordered a 65

This review is for the 55" version. I do not game, so have none of the other issues related to software, and wont address those here. I only watch TV. This TV has a stunning picture. I bought it for the bedroom, and it is amazing. The panel was perfect, no banding, no issues. Setup was easy, and the Smartcast had an app for YouTubeTV which is my provider, so I wasnt required to go out and buy another streaming box. I have had this TV for 9 months, and have had no issues with it powering on. I have had some issues with it communicating with its own Atmos soundbar. The TV will say it found the soundbar and use the TV remote to control, but while it causes the lights on the soundbar to change, and the volume info on screen to change, the soundbar remains at the same volume. I am going to chalk this up to the soundbar tho, because the TV's internal speaker volume works flawlessly without it. Reflections are a little over the top, so you will want to make sure there are no bright light sources that can reflect off the screen. I had a mini-LED in my living room from a discount manufacturer which broke and no replacements were available. I replaced it with an LG CX which had a sand colored bar down the screen I couldn't get rid of and it was very annoying. I returned it and got a Sony X950H which is a fantastic TV but the blooming on HDR content was what I originally bought the mini-LED to get rid of, and I am very susceptible to it. I decided to give this 55" Vizio Oled to the kid for his PS5 and RTX2080, and ordered the 65" Vizio OLED to replace the Sony in the living room. If its panel is as pristine as the 55", I will put the Sony in the bedroom, I am praying I get a good panel. Exchanging TV's is really getting old trying to find one with no picture issues.

I have had this TV about two weeks now, and absolutely love it. This is the second Vizio in a row I've purchased and I love the user interface and all of the different features it comes with. Really liked that there is a way to thread the wired through the structure to keep them hidden. Picture is amazing. Gaming is mind blowing. It is pretty heavy at 70lbs all put together but in a way that just makes it feel sturdier.

    DO NOT BUY THIS TV.

This tv has a great picture when it works, but that is all it has going for it. Tv will turn on and then turn back off. Sometimes it cant even launch the built in software if it does decide to stay on longer than 10 seconds. Now lets talk about support. I purchased the 5 year best buy warranty with this TV since it was expensive. I was on the phone with Vizio for 6 hours, I called them probably 20 different times during the 6 hours. I was escalated many times to a manager and they would only tell me they can not do anything as it is a firmware issue and would not create a service request. After about 5.5 hours I got a representative that would create a service request. The tech showed up today and replaced the part and somehow the TV worked even worse. it would not stay powered on for longer than 10 seconds. So now i have to deal with their support again. Now on to Best Buy support. I contacted the Geek Squad because Vizio would not honor their warranty so I was going to use my Best Buy warranty. Come to find out that I really only purchased a 4 year warranty and not the 5 years I was told. The Best Buy support told me they could not help me because there was still manufacturer warranty. So be warned if you buy the extended warranty you are getting only a 2 or 4 year warranty because Best Buy will not do anything for the first year. I asked if my warranty had already started and was told yes. So I was promised 5 years of coverage and only got 4. What ever you do DO NOT BUY THIS TV. Vizio will not give a timeline on a firmware update. It has been promised for 4 months. Pretty sure they are waiting out all of the 1 year warranties.

I have had this TV for a week and haven’t had any problems. One morning I did go to turn it on and it wouldn’t. I unplugged it from the outlet and help power button for 15 seconds. Haven’t had any issues since. The picture is really beautiful. I took back 3 TV’s before I found this one. I’m a big sports fan and this tv has a really good picture when watching football. For the price 1500.00 you can’t beat it. I love it so far

No complaints here. The color and contrast is outstanding, processing and streaming is super fast and efficient, and i love the smart platform. Theres tons of apps already built in, plus they have an app of their own with free channels 24/7. Its easy to navigate and updates come theough over the air when they add new apps. Highly recommend if you are looking for an OLED TV without breaking the bank!

Bought this tv in May. The tv started turning off by itself and would randomly turn the screen to gray and green bars. Tv also wouldn't work with screen mirroring on a android device. Vizio sent out a repair guy who replaced some boards all problems were fixed except the random turning off. Vizio sent me a new tv. After the guys left from installing, the screen turned black on it and it had to be unplugged and plugged back in.. This problem happened several more times. The first of August Vizio issued me a refund and picked the tv up. Customer service was very helpful but no answers to the tv problems. When the tv worked it had a excellent picture and was very easy to operate.

Tried the Vizio 65" and returned it for refund. The OLED was a good picture but so it the LG UHD 75" for 800 bucks. The reason i returned it was that my Denon sound system and the Vizio are not compatible. The vizio would not allow the HDMI audio to passthrough. The LG products do.... the Vizio's don't.

Go with LG CX, this TV is riddled with issues

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

What could have been a great TV is ruined by major and minor issues that still haven't been fixed (and may not ever be fixed). 4k120 plagued with issues on PS5 and Xbox Series X, not to mention broken VRR. The handshake is completely broken, sometimes requiring you to switch inputs back and forth or unplug and plug back in the TV. Basic things like remembering your power setting (ECO vs Quick Start) is broken. It forgets your setting after a few days. Horrible customer service and comms team that is not honest with the community about their plans to fix the issues. It's been almost a year and there has been no fix in sight. Now they're announcing updated models while the original stays broken? Is that a joke? I'll be using my replacement plan to swap for an LG CX, which has none of these issues. I was a Vizio customer for life until this. I told all my friends who are buying OLED's to go with the LG CX. I will never buy another high end Vizio product again.

Cheap, broken inputs make it impossible to use.

I'm now on my 2nd TV, and 24 hours later am seeing the exact same issue that plagued the first. HDMI ports 1 through 3 are faulty. They cut out constantly and eventually stop passing a signal altogether. The awkward cubby for the cables (HDMI ports face down, towards the ground, and there's only a couple inches below for the HDMI to connect and quickly elbow left) puts too much stress on the cheap board they use, or something, because they won't work with a standard HDMI cable. You can wiggle the cable around and see the picture cut in and out like it's a $5 TV you'd get at a garage sale. I've tried using different cables, different machines (computer, laptop, PS4), it's always the same issue, so it's absolutely the TV that's faulty. HDMI port 4, which is on the side, faces out with no awkward cable issues, and presumably on a different board or something, works fine - but isn't a 2.1 port, meaning no 4k @ 120hz. Using built in streaming works fine. Ethernet cable, which is smaller and doesn't pressure the connector the same way the HDMI does, works fine. When it works it's an incredible TV, absolutely gorgeous picture. Any amount of ambient light will drown it out though. Don't buy this TV.

Won't work with my entertainment system

I've had it for 3 weeks and I like the picture quality but the issue I'm having is with linking it to my entertainment system using a Universal Remote Control MX-890. My installer spent over an hour trying to find the discrete codes and couldn't. URC pointed him to Vizio as the source of the codes and Vizio points to URC. My installer gave up but I"ve called Vizio support 4 times finally escalating to a supervisor who told me to use the old codes which didn't work the first time. I'm going to return the TV,

Latest update broke CEC and eArc so my Atmos soundbar won’t work with this dumb tv and I have to use the crappy built in speakers. There is no fix and this TV has been glitchy from the start, but this is the last straw. Don’t buy this thing you will be sorry.

Very disappointed. Had a vizio for years. The day after we had it installed, we had nothing but problems. We were advised by the Greek Squad to return it after them told us Vizio put Oled in the system before all the bugs were worked out. Returned it for LG 65” OLED.

TV Does not Work when paired with PS5/Xbox

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Simply put, if you plan on using this TV with a PS5 or an Xbox Series X, do not buy this TV. The current firmware does not work properly. The TV has to be power cycled to turn on, and there is audio/video input issues when switching inputs. There has been a firmware update promised for months that has still not arrived. This TV was released defective. A quick reddit search will show the multitude of issues many owners are seeing. It's ridiculous how defective this TV is. No retailer should even stock it.
