This is a great TV for those that don't mind fiddling with their TV. It comes with all the bells and whistles of a much more expensive TV but requires some work to get the best results out of it. I would recommend getting it calibrated and have different picture settings for different types of content. I watch a lot of animation/anime and it looks amazing on this TV

The tv has an amazing picture that is crisp and clear. The only complaint I have with the tv is the smart apps do not work sometimes. Other than that an amazing tv.

The Images Looks So Real, It Actually Looks Fake!

The images/ picture on my new Vizio Quantum P-Series 4K HDR Smart TV screen looks so real, that it actually looks fake! Just about everything looks great on this television. I simply love this TV! This is my first Vizio television as well as my first 4K television. I currently own two 60 & 65” 3D 1080p televisions by another maker and thought they had the best displays until I took ownership of the Vizio television. I am blown away and totally impressed by all that this television has to offer. The reds, blacks, greens, yellows, pink and orange colors are popping! This 4K television is amazing! This TV is super bright. Lightens a dark room of over 1,000 sq feet with ease. I am able to watch television in any lighting conditions and do not need to close the shutters or adjust lighting to enjoy my favorite shows. I had my television shipped to my home, because although the television is rather light in-comparison to other televisions weighing at just over fifty pounds, when packaged for safety during shipping and delivery, the TV in the box is extremely heavy as it almost doubles the weight without the extra packaging. The television was well packaged with just the right amount of packaging, secured to handle shipping and moving around with ease. You can anticipate that your television will arrive without damage caused by shipping. Pay close attention to the instructions on the outside of the box as it will behoove you to follow them according to the steps laid out. In doing so it will make life outside the box (getting the television out of the box) a lot easier. There are clear instructions on the outside of the box, on the inside of the box and as soon as you open the top of the box, there is a form right on top with more instructions. I truly appreciate that Vizio went above and beyond what other television makers provide in terms of instructions; leaving very little room for error. The television was easy to take out of the box. You cut the straps on the outside of the box and simply slide the box up and your TV is ready for the next set of steps of un-packaging. The television screen was covered with cardboard and additional foam on the front so that you’re able to lay it on its’ face (front screen) and attach the legs. I only needed to get a phillips screwdriver to attach the legs, but didn’t need a blanket to cover the TV while I put on the legs or anything else. Vizio went above and behind with the packaging to ensure the TV is shipped without damage, was well protected from just about anything the consumer does even down to setting it up for display for the first time. Once you remove the packaging, the Quick Start Guide is right on top. At no point was I left wondering what were the next steps. There is a smaller box inside that includes the remote, power cord, legs, screws and a reviewer’s guide. This Vizio TV is large, but very thin. The boarder is almost nonexistent. You really have edge to edge screen. I have more of a boarder on my smart phone. The thin boarder on the TV is made of a beautiful aluminum edge and the stand legs are sleek; this is a sexy TV. There are speakers on the bottom and back of the television and they sound really good. I am able to listen to the TV all the way up to 100 and still enjoy. This is perfect for times when you don’t need or don’t want to turn on your surround sound or bar. The remote is uniquely sleek and came with duracell batteries that will last a long time and not the off-brand starter batteries that are normally provided for free with remotes. Even the remote included onboard instructions for opening and inserting the batteries. All of the instructions were well written, easy to follow and were accompanied by great pictorial illustrations. The instructions were so well written that it was like having a coach with you every step of the way and if you lose or misplace the manual, it’s preloaded on the TV. The standing legs were easy to put on by simply sliding them in from the bottom and then securing them with the included screws. It was very easy to connect all of my accessories and I didn’t have to compromise what I wanted to connect as the TV has 5 HDMI ports. Everything is clearly labeled with easy access. One thing that I didn’t like about the remote was that it wasn’t backlit. You have to find a separate light to see the remote in the dark. I had to keep turning on and off my living-room lights. Very frustrating. But I love the feel of the remote in my hand as it is the perfect size and shape. I love the center button as it is recessed and is easy to feel when you’re ready to select content without having to look at the remote (this helps when you’re watching TV in the dark. I actually prefer using this remote opposed to the Apple TV remote because it’s easy to select content without making a mistake and having to go back to select what you actually wanted. And the great thing about the remote is that I was able to control my Apple TV so I only need to use one remote. When turning on the TV, the Vizio logo looks nice. It looks like something from Tesla or the Avengers when starting up and the logo is on the remote and the back of the TV. The remote has several dedicated buttons for quick/direct access to some of the popular apps, such as, Hulu, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, iHeart Radio. I wish that it would allow for a couple special programing buttons for more versatility. I may want a quick access button for Pandora radio instead of iHeart. This would allow the owner of the TV to program the shows that are important to him or her. Also, I’ve noticed that it takes about 30 seconds longer to load than if I selected the app from my Apple TV or from my phone to stream. It also doesn’t look as sharp. I hope that’s a feature that can be updated later. I also wish the remote had a dedicated sleep timer button. It also doesn’t have a voice talk button, but you can take advantage of that feature on your mobile phone by downloaded an app that allows you to control your TV. But it is very convenient to have dedicated buttons to change between picture viewing so you can easily switch viewing based on preference. The remote has multiple buttons to get back to where you were with a back button, back arrows and a return button. It has a dedicated SmartCast Home button that is convenient for brining all of your favorite shows, movies, apps, etc. in one place. The TV has Chromecast built in, and Vizio provides Free and Unlimited TV. There is s beta program for Apple TV AirPlay 2 that will be coming towards the end of the year. I’m excited about this because it will allow me to use Siri and HomeKit to control features by just speaking my commands. The TV allows for automatic updates over the internet so your TV has the ability to stay up to date and not be outdated in a year or so. This TV is a good investment. I was able to sign up or sign in with all of my favorite apps. I wish the TV saved your email address for easy access as I had to sign in several times for several different apps. It appeared to me that the apps take longer to load with the TV apps than with the Apple TV but only a few seconds in differnce. Overall, the VIZIO Quantum P-Series 4K HDR Smart TV’s picture shows a lot of detail I was missing with my previous televisions. I am able to see texture, dimensions and colors I had not seen previously. It looks so real it that it looks unreal. All colors pop; especially reds, greens and yellows. The television looks really great in vivid but standard is still just as good as other TV’s vivid. If you’re looking for a great deal on a large 4K television that does cheat you on features or looks, but saves you money, this is the TV to get. You will not be disappointed, I certainly am not. Tonight will be another night where I stay up late looking at the nature channel as if I am seeing colors for the first time. Thank you Vizio for getting it right and making the perfect TV affordable!

The picture quality is excellent for this price range. I would suggest using a sound bar or surround sound and you could have the perfect setup for your home theater. The only downside is that the built in apps load slowly. I’m used to the speed of my appleTV, this is noticeably slower. For users the t is HomeKit compatible so that’s a plus. I would rate it 4.5 stars.

It’s really is a great tv for the price. Was thinking of going back with LG but once I compared price, size and specs, this Tv was a MUCH BETTER BUY. Works great with my Xbox 360 and PlayStation 4. It’s great too to get the free Visio Tv. They need a little work on their platform but since we stream everything now, it’s another great option that doesn’t cost extra.

I love the TV but its hit or miss getting to the smart apps. Sometimes I have to do a soft reset and some times I can get to Netflix from the remote -- similar situation with the other apps. If this wasn't a quarantine time I would have someone come in and see what is what. At times it says Im offline but ofcourse I'm not since the apps work on ipads. Or Netflix will lose sound and then freeze and disappear. Amazon prime doesn't always happen but eventually resetting it all, it works. I wonder if it would work better if it wasn't wireless? Its a great TV tho.

Love the tv and it's Dolby Atmos features. Everything is great except one month after purchase the TV started developing black "scan" lines that are more pronounced in the left hand corner of the screen near the power outlet. I've contacted Vizio and they are replacing the TV, I am just bummed out that it was brand new and already had issues. Other than that issue, this TV is fantastic, the colors are amazing under the Dolby Vision. Highly recommend this!

Always been a Samsung guy.. never again. I LOVE this tv. One thing I would note is the “smart” software Installed is great but I still use a roku just for all the additional options. This tv is worth more than what I payed for it and I would get again.. you’d have to spend 2-3 times the amount to get same color quality on a Samsung. Worth every penny
