This provides a great quality 4K HDR display however, we found it necessary to add a streaming device (roku, fire stick, etc) to provide more consistent performance when streaming. While WIFI connected, we have to reboot the TV every hour (or less) because it drops connection to WIFI which can't be reestablished unless the TV is rebooted. NOT A GOOD CHOICE FOR CORD CUTTERS.!!!

After 2 years, TV won't start up

I purchased this TV in July 2019, and really enjoyed it for 2 years. There were some random issues occasionally, but usually were quickly resolved. After 2 years, an issue starting occurring where I powered the TV on, the Vizio symbol would appear for 5-10 seconds, then the TV would power off. After 5-10 seconds, the TV turned on again, and continued this same cycle. It actually powered on, then off by itself for 48 straight hours. The only way to stop was to unplug it. I tried to reset it but that did not work. I called Vizio support and they had never heard of this issue before. They tried to troubleshoot with me, but I had already tried everything they suggested. Since out of warranty, I am now looking for a new TV and definately will not be purchasing another Vizio.

I bought this item 9 months ago. From day one I have regretted this purchase. We use HULU as one of our main providers and this television has a Hulu app which of course we were happy about. We noticed right away that the Hulu app that is included with the television does not work all the time. It will freeze up or it will state no connection and give a code. We called technical support and were informed that this is a common problem with this model. We had to end up buying a ROKU in order to continue to use Hulu. We have a different tv in the bedroom and have never had an issue like this (meaning it is not our internet) Also it sometimes takes several minutes to get the tv to come on. I did buy the warranty and yes I could have probably taken the tv back but we live an hour from where we bought it and I decided to just make do and keep it. I definitely should have taken it back.

This is another great TV offered by Vizio that offers high end tech and . I have a 2018 Vizio P-Series that I love and is going strong and this new 2019 version of the Quantum P-Series does not disappoint either. Out of the box Vizio takes into account the size of the TV. I know it's hard, but follow the instructions on the box. They make the box so that the top opens, you remove the remote, manual, cord and stands. Then you slide the box right off of the base. This reveals the tv which is wrapped in a bag with handles and the screen is protected with a cardboard/padded piece. I left that on until I had the tv on the wall. The TV looks pretty epic, with very little bezel and a thin design. All the inputs are on one side of the tv and vizio made that area sunk into the tv a little more than the rest making cable management a little easier. The power cord is on the other side. The stands are very wide on the tv. Make sure if you're not mounting it, that you have a wide base/stand to put it on. The only head scratcher is the clear adhesive protector Vizio used to go around the bezel. When I removed it, it left adhesive stuck to the bezel? What in the world. This didn’t happen with my P-series last year, strange that it happened this year. I tried peeling slower, I tried peeling faster, still the same. I will have to use some alcohol swabs to lightly run down the sides of the TV to get it off. Not something you want to have to do to a brand new TV. That one negative being said, there’s not much bad to say about this tv. After turning it on you’ll see how bright and colorful this TV really is. Vizio has done a great job with their “Calibrated” and “Dark Calibrated” settings. I use Calibrated and tweak a few small things but for the most part, it’s spot on. Watching 4k content on Netflix just doesn’t seem like you’re watching on a LED screen. The blacks are so black it seems like an old school plasma and the color is rich and deep. I watched the movie Triple Frontier and the quality of the movie on this tv had my jaw dropping. If you get the settings just right, the black screen while on, will barely show up in an all black room. Watching sports like hockey and basketball they look great with no pixilation and vivd colors. Playing games on PS4 I notice no lag. This TV is going to make me go buy a ps4 pro it looks so good. The quantum dot technology seems pretty amazing and the HDR10 and Dolby Vision look spectacular when available. The remote is the same as last year with there being a direct button for Netflix, Amazon video, iHeart and a few other services that I probably won’t use. Would be cool to see a few options for apps that you can program in there, but I’m sure there is a contract and money involved for those apps to be on the remote. Still waiting for that backlit remote, makes me appreciate my xfinity cable remote that lights up when I touch it, so much more. As of now, there is no youtube app on the app screen. That is different from last year but not a game changer for me to be honest since you can still stream directly from your phone when using youtube. Just weird they didn’t add it. With the chromecast option, you can stream a ton of apps to your tv. Watching sports like hockey and basketball they look great with no pixilation. Playing games on PS4 I notice no lag. The tv supports google assistant and alexa and is supposed to soon support apple homekit. Couple of cool things to note. The watchfree or plutotv option that vizio offers is actually really cool. It wouldn’t make me go out and cancel my cable and I laughed at it the first time I saw it, but I have found myself watching it for quite a while and forgetting that I wasn’t watching the cable I pay for. If you have cut the cord, this is a great option for you. Another cool thing that I just really started playing with is the vizio app. It makes it way easier to change picture settings on the fly without using the remote. You pull up the settings you want to change and you just use your finger to slide the bar over till you get what you want. Really convenient option that I just found. I know some people have their mind set on Vizio not being up there with the big names like Sony and Samsung but I’ve got to say, Vizio is turning a lot of heads with the specs and picture quality on these new TV’s. I’m sold on it and since last year I’ve been recommending others who are in the market, to take a look at what Vizio is offering and to give them a shot. Don’t believe me? Go check it out for yourself!

I did quite a bit of research prior to buying this and it came down to this or the TCL 6 series and while this was a little bit more expensive the in-depth reviews and the specs were just that much more compelling. So happy I made that decision, this TV is awesome.

I like this tv. Moving up to a 4K from a 7 year old Vizio. The size is perfect for my living room. Hanging in the wall was super easy and the HDMI plugs are easily accessible. Pro tip - get multi colored cables to connect devices. Easier to know what to replace or swap out.

Very excited to get a really big TV but not so excited with the picture quality. We were getting flashing in the background which became very annoying. Vizio was great to deal with and we eventually, due to Covid restrictions, received a replacement however, the replacement has a flaw in the screen and now we haven't heard back from Vizio.......

I've only had one issue with lines appearing on the screen of the TV, and it was fixed with a power reset. Other than that it's great. The built-in apps are slower compared to other TVs, but they are passable and present if you don't have another streaming device.

The clarity on this TV is absolutely awesome. It also allows you to customize the actual picture two brightness, saturation, etc. This is my first 4K TV, so I don't have a lot of experience with the menus, however, I find this TV to be a great buy.
