Active array feature is garbage

Have to create video modes for each input too. Have yet to watch a UHD video that made me think "wow, that is an awesome picture". Would have returned but I waited too long. My last Vizio TV for sure.

Posted .Hello Bill, at VIZIO we pride ourselves on our highly rated picture quality. Sites like CNet, RTings, and Reviewed.com consistently rate VIZIOs picture quality among the best in the industry. To make sure you’re getting the most out of you VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and that you’re getting an HD (or UHD) signal. You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms try using the Vivid or Calibrated setting, for darker rooms try ‘Calibrated Dark’. A great way to test the TVs capabilities is open up the YouTube app in SmartCast input. Once you are in the YouTube app, search "4K HDR". The videos there will be great for quality and clarity. They can be helpful to fine tune your picture settings! Confused

What's weird is you can rewind the show, program, whatever your watching and the sound is there.

Perfect if what you like to do is troubleshoot

Perfect if what you like to do is a system reboot and re-enter all your passwords again... When it works it is great. It goes into brain dead mode every few months and all you can access is the apps on the remote until you do factory reset and re-enter everything. Would not be so bad if some of the apps on the remote were ones you used... Pity the folks who use this to watch Disney plus as when it goes dead all you can do is reset. BTW I have tried all steps inbetween multiple times... as stated in previous review of soundbars the Arc sound bar input is a joke. Does not work. Google it

Disappointed

I was told it was a mother board problem. Common problem based on online reviews

Vizio has poor service!

Geek Squad referred us to Vizio, and Vizio has had terrible customer service. They're supposed to come and fix the TV, but are not being timely nor straightforward.

Not worth the money!

Demo unit that failed after 3 hours.

I had to return it. As it was a demo unit there were no others, so it was not repurchased.

Best Buy Lies

Came in a bubble wrap and no box with the legs jammed in without a way to get them out. Completely unmountable.

Not worth it.

The home screen and apps are so slow its hard to anything other than netflix. I had to call geek squad twice and they replaced the motherboard twice and told me that the problem was probably on Vizios side. I don't even use the apps on the TV I just have a gaming console to watch everything. The TV is just such low quality for the price I paid and the picture is okay at times but not worth in my opinion. Hope this helps someone.

Horrible

It won’t turn on with the controller and sometimes you will see the screen distorted- it has a manufactured error and this needs to be taken off the store. I want a reimbursement, this tv is brand new and I spent so much money for it not working. My brother also bought the same exact tv and it had a manufacturing error, he returned it as well.

Great Support, but this TV is a Lemon. Stay Away

Support staff is great but can only do so much with a defective device. Software resets cannot fix what is likely cheap/bad/defective logic boards. While researching, I see many customers have my issues-- auto-turn-on CEC bug, and now a boot loop, leaving TV useless.

Terrible TV

Even the wired internet connection doesn't work well. Absolutely horrible to buy a tv that just randomly closes all of your apps whenever it wants to. (yes, my internet connection is just fine). I just literally can't even begin to describe how terrible this television is and how i wish i had done anything other than buy it. My old television that i had since 2012 still worked better than this new one.

Very slow to start up

Dark spots everywhere

After doing a bit of research I have found this is a common issue with these TVs. After trying all the trouble shooting steps listed it is still full of dark spots and only getting worse. Definitely steer clear of these TVs.
