    Really Good Home Theater Screen

The screen does an excellent job in terms of color accuracy, brightness, and deep blacks that do not artifact. The downside is that my screen has vertical banding that is not very noticeable but once you see it, you can't unsee it. It's a really annoying thing that has me contemplating whether i should return it or not. I understand most tvs will have this issue but not sure if i can deal with it. Another issue i had was the tv turning on by itself. It could be from CEC but have yet to confirm. Another issue I have is that Chromecast does not always work. Have had other vizio tvs that work flawlessly in this regard so don't know if i have a faulty product.

I always heard these were cheap televisions, model numbers are confusing. But, check them out online and read the reviews. This television is next to the top model, price point is good for the picture. Some bells and whistles. Wish l had gotten the biggest picture screen.

Nice upgrade from my previous 50 inch!

I’ve had this TV now for one month. It’s a very nice upgrade from my 50 inch LG! I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase and feel like I saved a ton of cash by opting now to pay hundreds more for a premium brand TV, such as Sony, Samsung or LG. I guess time will tell if I made the right decision. For now I’m 100% satisfied. I wondered if a 65 inch TV would be too big for my living room, but I’m so glad I went for it, because it’s not too big after all and I know if I had gone for a smaller TV I would have only had regrets that I didn’t get the bigger one.

    Such disappointment

Got the 2019 Vizio P series quantum that broke a month in, obviously after the return window had closed. Best Buy extended warranty that I bought with it directed me to Vizio. Vizio sent a tech that determined the power module had failed and replaced it along with the entire motherboard. New TV, he said. Well, after he left, 3 hours later my “new” TV would not turn on anymore. Called Vizio they decided to issue a replacement. Since the 2019 P Series is not available, I got the 2021 model. I was so excited thinking it happens es for a reason and I get a better TV with eArc and HDMI 2.1, better processor! I was counting the days till it arrived. Only to be disappointed again. The TV works, however the PQ is WORSE than the 2019 model. The blooming is the worst I’ve ever seen! The screen lights up when white lettering is against the black background, like movie credits or menus. The 4K upscaling is nonexistent, you can see color banding without even trying to look closer. Dolby Vision on streaming apps like Netflix looks good in bright scenes, but in dark scenes it looks like a 720p image, with color blocks and screen flickering. And finally, the cherry on top, eArc does not pass through Dolby Atmos to my Q90R soundbar. I plugged my 4K Apple TV to the TV, my Panasonic UB820 player to the TV and my soundbar to eArc and I’m not getting Atmos Pass-Through. For Apple TV I get Dolby Audio 5.1 and for Panasonic I get, wait for it, STEREO output! Wow, eArc right! I am using high speed certified HDMI cables. I even bought 8k ones thinking it must be cables, but nothing changed. Countless calls to Support yielded nothing. They have no idea why I don’t get Atmos because I’m supposed to. Final word was they “will forward this to engineering because it appears to be a software bug. We will call you when we know more”. Yeah I’m sure they will fix it. So for now, I disabled eArc and at least that way I’m getting Atmos for Apple TV. As to Panasonic, connected it to the Soundbar and now can get Atmos and Dolby Vision. The same set up as the 2019 regular Arc Vizio TV. I don’t know if I’m the only one with this issue. On the forums they say the latest update broke Dolby Vision and HDR and no one knows when the new patch will be released. So for now, I’m putting old trusty Sony X900F in my living room, which this TV was supposed to replace. But the 2018 Sony is LEAPS AND BOUNDS better than the 2021 Vizio. No blooming, inky blacks and amazing upscaling. All this with 2 year old technology and 70% less local dimming zones. I will never buy a Vizio TV again. I do commend their customer Service for getting my replacement quick, it’s just the product sucks!

I got it on a good sale for over $400 off normal price. I probably would have bought something if I was paying full price. It definitely needs some manual calibration obviously professional would be better, but I found plenty of info to get it to a spot where I am very happy with it.

Can't believe the picture on this tv. The colors are vivid and bright, there are so many adjustments to get this just the way you would want. I've been a Vizio customer for over 10 years now, and I think that they hit a home run on this. I would put this tv against any of the oled TV's. save yourself money and buy the quantum P series.

TV works great. I do not like the fact that Vizio does not offer full web browser on their TVs in 2020. They need to fix that and then I will give 5 stars. The overall picture quality is great. The sound quality is not so good but it could just be me.... lol

I always drive myself crazy picking out new televisions, and this choice was no exception. After reading every review I could on every T.V. I chose the Vizio P series for several reasons. The color is stunning, the blacks are excellent, and the T.V. is good in light or dark rooms. I find no problems from side viewing angles, and the speakers are good. Several months ago I purchased a Samsung NU8000 from Best Buy. The one thing that the Samsung has that the Vizio lacks is depth of picture. However, the color range evens it out. Hard to find, and a breeze to set up.

I wanted a large TV for my living room and wanted it to include everything I needed. I wanted to be able to connect it to my smart devices such as the Amazon Echo with Alexa as well as my iPhone, iPad, etc. I didn’t want to purchase a chrome cast or any extra equipment to cast from my phone or iPad. This TV is perfect as far as “all inclusive” goes. Great purchase for the price. The picture quality is great. I have an older vizio tv that I purchased about 4-5 years ago. I plan to upgrade that one to a newer vizio for the convenience I have with this 65”.

I love the black levels,, colors and saturation of this set. There are a few thing's that I believe can be corrected like the built in apps and fluidity of the processor. But overall I think its a great and would do it again at this price point

This is a great TV. I can’t imagine a better television at this price point. You can, I’m sure get a better quality picture, but you’ll spend twice the money or even more, for an incrementally better television. Great color with dark blacks. Much better off axis viewing than our old 55” Vizio. Which is still working fine, it’s just been moved to my “music room”. Televisions have gotten a bit heavier in the last couple of years. Make sure your mount is up to the task. Especially if like we were you are going bigger.

It has a really good picture, but not nearly like it was in the store. I gave this a 4 star because the quality in the store versus at home is quite different. I like the fact we can stream from your phone to the tv and the picture quality is still good.

Tv has a great picture, the only thing I do not like about it is the sound will suddenly drop low and have to turn the volume up over 1/2 was to hear it. If you go into the settings and reboot the tv it corrects it
