Customers are saying
Customers frequently mention the superb picture quality, vibrant colors, and smooth refresh rate as significant strengths of the 65" Class P-Series Quantum Series LED 4K UHD SmartCast TV. However, some users have reported issues with the HDMI 2.1 ports and SmartCast software needing improvement. Concerns have also been raised regarding the variable refresh rate (VRR) functionality and blooming. The price-to-performance ratio is frequently praised.

Latest 120hz update locks out picture adjustments
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My friend bought this TV yesterday per my suggestion that the newest update has resolved the 120 issues. He asked me to come over and calibrate the tv. Unfortunately after the latest update applied I was unable to manipulate many of the settings needed to dial in the set. Simple settings such as sharpness, backlight etc are locked and you cannot adjust them at all. I still rate the TV as excellent since I know this is a firmware issue and at $980 for a 65" 120hz capable display it is a great value. 4k hdr content looks good out of the box as expected.

Not impressed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm not happy with this type of TV. On my old projection TV the picture was so clear and realistic looking that it looked like you could walk right into the screen. These new TVs want to take reality and make it look animated. It also looks like they made 4k TVs before they made 4k cameras. Sometimes I get a clear picture and sometimes not. Sometimes I get horizontal lines across the middle of the screen. The volume is loud enough but when watching a movie I had to keep the remote in my hand to keep adjusting the volume, the background sounds were really loud and the voices really low. That could have been from the movie production though. These TVs might be a lot better for gaming and I should have gotten a projection system to watch TV. The Smartcast doesn't work on my TV so I don't actually have a "smart" TV. I went through all the troubleshooting steps and called support, they said it would start working in a few days but it hasn't. I would take this TV back but I think all of these LED/LCD are this way.

Do not buy Vizio…
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dead within 8 months. Repaired under warranty and then died a year later with no warranty. Vizio is a terrible brand. Have owned 3 and all never lived passed 2 years. Ridiculous.

Good while it lasted but it didn’t last
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this TV a year and 2 months ago and within a few weeks we couldn’t switch to the apps, we got a black screen. Chatted with support who said I’d have to unplug the TV, hold the power button on the TV in for 10 seconds and then plug the TV back in. It was a pain but it worked and we didn’t have to do it often. Within the last month or so the TV frequently either turns itself off or won’t turn on using the remote or power button on the back of the TV. We have to unplug it, hold in the power button and plug it back in. We’ve owned Vizios for years but this has soured us and we’re looking at switching brands.

Buyer Beware
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were recommended this TV from a friend who loves the it but our experience has been nothing short of terrible. One month after purchase we started having issues. The TV would lose connectivity to the wifi, it would turn off randomly and not turn back on, and worst of all there were black horizontal shadows striped across the screen. Vizio replaced the TV (with a refurbished model) but we still had the same issues. Best Buy Geek Squad was also zero help...always told us to contact the manufacturer. We are currently going through the process of getting a refund.

Not reliable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv is bad, at first I was blown away by the display, but after only 2 days the screen went green on me anytime I would try to stream a video or play on my xbox. The 129hz does not work. If I would try to do any gaming outside of low input mode the display would freeze up or turn green etc. It's a shame bc the display is beautiful. I'm thankful best buy is good with returns and allowing me to swap this out towards a sony x900h, if you're looking for a good solid tv especially for taking, get the Sony.
