Customers are saying
Customers frequently mention the superb picture quality, vibrant colors, and smooth refresh rate as significant strengths of the 65" Class P-Series Quantum Series LED 4K UHD SmartCast TV. However, some users have reported issues with the HDMI 2.1 ports and SmartCast software needing improvement. Concerns have also been raised regarding the variable refresh rate (VRR) functionality and blooming. The price-to-performance ratio is frequently praised.

Returning this TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv could be a really great TV if it wasn’t for all the firmware issues it has. It supposed to be able to handle the next gen game consoles, however, it does not work at 4K @120fps yet. Lots of bugs and need to reboot it every couple hours cause it stops recognizing my sound bar or is simply not doing what the control tells it to do. It looks really good, the picture quality is great. But the frustration is not worth it.

Vizio P65q-h1
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall great picture quality and features for the price. Vivid colors and deep blacks. Performs 120 fps well on Cold War for PS5. Some of the settings aren't super intuitive, on PS5 i had to change the 4K Video Transfer setting to -1 as it wasn't displaying the 4:4:4 RGV signal properly on the TV. Certain setting won't stay off (like enhanced viewing angle) but these are minor gripes and I suspect many of these issues will be smoothed out via firmware updates. Overall im pretty happy with it.

Next-Gen Necessity!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this tv for the upcoming consoles after debating between the m series and the p series. With 120 fps at 4k for the p series, this was the winning factor when considering the new series x can perform at that level so I might as well future proof my purchase for a while. The multiple HDMI 2.1 ports are great ( HDMI 3 & 4) and the eARC functionality of HDMI port 1 enables great functionality for atmos enabled sound bars. It would have been great if there was an ultra high speed HDMI cable included (48 gbps) , however I ended up ordering one through amazon. Colors look great and the vrr as well as auto game mode have been working great with my xbox one x with continued software updates fixing some of the tv's launch issues.

2.1 HDMI is a FAIL
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had this TV for 4 months now and I have to say that the quality of how things look on it is pretty good. But it has a lot of faults. I started out with my PS4 on this tv and the color, brightness and contrast setting was all grayed out. I played my xbox one x and problems there. The work around was a pain in the rear. But I purchase this tv for 2.1 HDMI to work with my PS5 and I have to say it does not work. Either I got a green screen or no image at all. The only way to see my PS5 in the 2.1 HDMI port was to switch the tv to 1.4 HDMI or move to the second HDMI port. So at the moment it could only provide 4K@60hz not 4K@120hz in HDMI 2. I feel ripped off by Vizio. I have been a supporter of them for a very long time. But not anymore. If you plan on buying a 4k@120hz don't buy any of Vizio P series and Oled all of them seem to have this problem. I hope this doesn't turn into a class action suit.

Good TV for the money BUT....
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I waited for Vizio P series quantum X close to 5 months but I ended up buying this because Best Buy never carried the 65 inch quantum X. Tv has some flaws, I paired the TV with JBL 9.1 sound bar. I had to reboot the tv every other day because I wasn’t getting any sound. Wasn’t able to play Xbox, was getting green/black screen. Definitely need a software updates from Vizio. Can’t connect with Vizio SmartCast either. Not happy with my purchase, hopefully Vizio can fix all the issues soon.

It has a great picture, sound and easy set up. Picture quality is better than expected and factory speakers are great but also purchased a surround sound system to get the full experience.

Nice tv but I'm a Samsung fan boy
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although a great tv, I returned this product in favor for the Samsung Q90. I couldn't resist having all my products in my home keep the consistent brand name Samsung. Washer, Dryer, Fridge, and four TV's. Next will be the stove and Dishwasher.

Vizio at it's best
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This tv is fantastic and boosts all the bells and whistles you'll need if you are a gamer or want to watch movies and shows at they're best. 4K@120fps looks and feels rewarding to watch. Vizio sent out an update to address an issue were some may have been experiencing VRR, flickering or non VRR option availability that no longer is an issue just update you're tv and you are good to go. I personally give this tv an 10/10 you will not be disappointed with you're purchase. I collaborated my tv recently and boy does it look good the colors really pop off the screen and on top of that the crisp image in 4k is truly remarkable. I recommend you buy this tv from best buy they have an amazing delivery service and tv arrived safe and secured by they're delivery.

Amazing Tv for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this tv for a bit now and I can comfortably say that it is a phenomenal TV. It uses HDR10+ for your gaming consoles(at least Xbox one x or newer) and it uses Dolby Vision to display crisp 4K quality movie and shows. It has a lot of dimming areas giving you the “true black” on black screens. The only downside to it is when it’s a black screen with text on it, you will see white light fading away from the text as it is combating the light with the dimming zones. If you can afford it, this tv is great. The only thing to make it better is a 7.1 surround sound setup to fully utilize Dolby Vision. Besides that I give it 10/10

Great for gaming
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After returning the vizio OLED, this tv has been absolutely amazing, the colors are a little too bright for my viewing but otherwise the blacks are very deep in tone which I prefer. 120 hz as it says great for the PS5

Good value for the money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Solid tv for the money. I originally purchased the vizio MQ and wasnt satisfied. Returned it for this one and the difference is tremendous. Much smoother picture and the colors are vibrant. Screen is very bright and good for well lit rooms. Vizio software is clunky but thats not a problem if you're using a streaming device. The tv could definitely be better, but value for the dollar very very good.

Great Picture, Reasonable Price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The TV has a great picture and works reliably. The problem I have had is the TV will loose communication with my Charter cable TV box, and occasionally with other devices. Currently this is happening only once per week or less, but at times it was bad. I contacted VIZIO tech support which was helpful but did not resolve the problem. It may be related to having a relatively older cable box.

Vizio P65Q9-H1 review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great looking TV. It has bugs tho. Strange things like the volume menu just gets stuck on the screen and connecting this TV to a 1080p device like a firestick, Nintendo Switch or a base PS4 will gray out picture settings from color, contrast, sharpness ect...I've been trying to talk to Vizio about fixing this and get the "we're working on it" response. But if you connect it to the right devices it looks incredible.

I think i purchased too soon
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.so many bugs in firmware. Hdr10 and hdr10 plus flickering in and out when playing Xbox or black screen. No Destiny at all in 4k just scrambled mess. Vrr has to be on or screen too dark. Hdmi not recognize tivo or xbox sometimes and just shows black screen so I unplug hdmi cable and plug back in to get picture. Messing with audio settings changes picture settings. So many bugs more to mention. Oh watched Moana on disney plus app and had to reboot tv to clear the tiedye picture effect i was getting with Dolby vision. After reboot the movie was beautiful. I hope a firmware update comes soon. I want to love this tv and it has potential but it needs to play nice with my Tivoli, sound bar, and xbox and due to firmware it is not something I love. 1 day left to return it..

Great TV for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have only had it for a couple weeks but it's performing very well. Sufficient amount of HDR zones so that only the area around white text "glows" on a black background (and the non-glow areas are pretty darn black). Have it hanging on wall in large room and colors don't wash out until when viewed from very wide angles (fairly impractical for viewing anyway). Used it once for a computer display and it looked really good. Watching HD football you do get a little motion blur depending on the situation but seems pretty common at this price point. Screen holds its own with some window glare as a reflection. Has a pretty quick interface for its OS too. Don't forget to make adjustments to the colors, warmth, etc. and you'll be happy with this TV.

Solid TV
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this tv for quite a while now and I’ve really only disliked this white halo effect that happens only when the tv has to display the color black. Reds, greens, blues, yellows and so forth are displayed well but the TV struggles with black. Quality and sound are actually pretty great. Cool features get added when an update rolls around or at least that’s what I've seen. Also, being able to control it with your iPhone is a VERY handy feature for me. (Turning on / off and switching between inputs)
