    We bought this TV less than a month ago and the on/off button on both the TV and Remote does not work. The TV will not turn off we when it is on and it will not turn on when it is off. I have to unplug it and re-plug it in order for it to work for a while. This is the first time a Vizio TV we purchase has been defective. We still 3 of them that are covered over 10 years old and they work great.

    This is a trash tv. The apps will not work, forcing you to do a hard reboot on the tv every time you want to watch it. Since you can’t delete any of the apps, the only recourse you will have is to do a full factory reset (which will do you no good). This tv continuously tracks you and your voice and sends that data back to tvinteractive.tv. You cannot opt out of this data gathering nor can you request your data be destroyed. Avoid Vizio tv’s at all costs. This is nothing but early 90’s spyware in a barely updated data model they call a tv.

The remote only listens for preset commands while the microphone key is held. If you release the microphone key, the remote will not receive commands.     TV takes forever to update initially. After 2 weeks we could not get the TV to come on. We are now trying to troubleshoot the issue which is frustrating with a new set.

    Buyer Beware, Lousy Vizio TV Dependabilty

    Turned off and had reset tv prior than today. This is the second time vizio tv problem with today. TV would not turn back on with power button or changing remote batteries. Online tv directions expressed unplugging tv 1 min. then retrying powering tv. Vizio 75" tv is only 5 months old bought from local Chesapeake Best Buy store. I will follow-up later for details to explore all options to get tv to power up later when more time available to work on.

    It’s a good sized tv. The only issue is the tv itself lags BAD. Volume lags. Buttons on the remote to tv lag. Home Screen functions lag.

    I had this for 5 days. It turns pitch black out of nowhere after certain time being on and can't change to another app/channel and it won't power off with the control or by pressing the power button I have to unplug it to turn it off and it starts working again. This happens everytime. Will return.

    Really bad for the $$

    Had this tv for 2 months and the sound goes in and out. When this happens I have to reset the tv and it'll come back. The black detail on this is really poor and the color settings are just atrocious. The black details flicker a lot in and out and it's really hard to see the tv in bright room conditions even if you change the settings. Some settings that could help with this are greyed out and I cannot change them.

    Not worth the $500

    If you can, spend $50 more and get the Samsung 7 series 65". That's what I did after trying this TV for a day. The interface is terrible, keeps disconnecting WiFi (works perfectly fine in Samsung). The 4k is not really 4k because the display panel quality is really bad. Again, go for Samsung. This is aweful.

    High pitch noises only 4 months old

    Had the tv for 4 months and started making a high pitch noise. At first I could turn the tv off and back on and it would go away. Now the sound is CONSTANT. pitch volume changes with the picture changes different scenes. Now they have to come out and repair it as it is a pixel issue.

    I never weight reviews but this tv is horrible. We’ve had the 65” for about six months and we have to constantly unplug the tv then plug it back in to get it to work. You can not add apps and the tv takes forever to boot up. Wish we had bought a different brand but now we’re stuck this this crap!

    Quit working after just over a year

    Quit working on December 28th 2022 and bought it on December 11,2011. I purchased the 5 year protection plan but now have to wait two weeks for them to come fix. I have issues with every big screen tv I bought so not isolated to Vizio.

    Not my favorite TV thus far. Sometimes whenever we are watching something it will not sync up with the words and we have to restart the tv numerous times. Then other times it will say internet is not connected but it is and we have to reboot the tv. Very annoying

    I changed my mind.The 65 inch never left the The Best Buy Store in Douglasville. My reason for not taking the T V from your store due to poor cover no box no way to transport.poorly package. In happy customer.

    Do not buy this TV. 1st TV exchanged after 2 months because it went out. Now the 2nd TV will not come on neither after a month and a half. Cant return say im out the exchange window.

    Tv had blue line in less than two weeks. Vizier has been difficult to deal with and we have bought multiple tv’s of that brand. STILL waiting for a replacement.

    This tv wasnt wat i expected. I went from a roku tv to this one and the vizio freezes alot, you cant download 3rd party apps it has a delay. My roku tv performed much better than this one. Dont recommend it.

To power cycle a TV you will want to unplug the power and then hold the power button on the back of the TV for at least 5-10 seconds while unplugged. After those 5-10 seconds, go ahead and plug the power back in and power it on.     This TV is not real 4K at all, the image is. It clear at all, I have change all the settings on to actually have a 4K picture but looks more like 1080p which sucks if I could change it I would.
