There have also been 2 occasions where the remote stops working. Unplugging the TV once, and manually turning the TV on the other time quickly resolved the problems.

Not sure why that happened. This is the 4th vizio I have purchased the first 2 are still working without any issues and were older then the one which malfunctioned. The older remotes were made much better never had to be replaced. Hopefully better luck with this purchase

This one has an awesome picture and looks great on its new cabinet in our living room. The overriding concern with this TV, however, is the fact that it looses the tuner or the audio every few days and it requires a hard reset. The first time it happened, we called Vizio and learned how to do it to fix the problem. However, it didn't fix the problem; we now have to do a hard reset every couple of days. We called Vizio again over the weekend and they opened a case #20520800 for future calls. Clearly, there is a component failing and we are quite disappointed. If Vizio could manage to correct the issue this TV would be a 5 Star product based on price point, picture quality and ease of set-up. But right now, this is not a 5 star product.

A loud static sound sometimes happens when I first turn the TV on. And the remote won't click on the correct alphabet. It lags. I had to buy another remote with individual letters just so I can be able to type in that I want to view on the different apps on the TV.
