Poor picture Quality

I am very disappointed in the picture quality and truly do not see a difference between the two. I have been a Vizio customer for many years and believe their products outlast all others. I was under the understanding this model would upscale and give the best picture, but unfortunately it does not. I have a Sony TV in another room and there is a night and day difference in the picture quality. I would not recommend this

To make sure you’re getting the most out of your VIZIO TV, we’d recommend making sure your devices are connected with an HDMI cable, and are set to broadcast in 4K (2160p) or Full HD (1080p). You can also individually adjust your picture settings in the menu. For brighter rooms, try using the ‘VIVID’ picture mode for a brighter, more colorful image. Another good way to see the full capabilities of the TV would be to search for "4K HDR" in the YouTube app. As long as your network connection is able to support speeds needed for 4K HDR content, there are some amazing looking videos. Software works is horrible

Not to pleased as I up graded from a regular Sony flat screen to this so called smart tv. Suports answer is to unplug wait and plug back in, it works but have to do it at least 2 times a day.feels like a lemon.

Small scratches on screen, otherwise super nice

not for cord-cutters- prepare for sling-sadness !

Vizio will tell you what apps (even popular ones) you are permitted to enjoy in your home after buying this TV. I didn't realize that Vizio TV's choose FOR you (I think they are the last major brand to engage in this practice to this degree). I never write reviews, but felt duty-bound to write the review that I wish I had read. I thought I had done my research, but I can save someone else from the gigantic task of dragging home a tv, doing the white-knuckle wall-hang, only to flop down on the couch and realize that unlike the Roku (& other) smart-tvs we own, Vizio essentially locks the door on what apps you can download onto your TV. We've been Sling TV users for a while now and I didn't realize that in 2020 any modern, well-reviewed smart tv would (quite significantly) restrict what apps the buyer can enjoy but that is the case. I was dumbfounded as we swiped through the app store....and it wasn't until I started seeing the same apps again that I realized it was just looping as I'd already gone through the limited number of apps Vizio allows you to have. Yes, Vizio allows you to have certain apps, but does not allow you to have others. A good analogy for this is you walk in the grocery store with a cart, but Vizio shoppers are only allowed to order from certain aisles. Other smart tv owners get access to anything they want in the store. This is frustrating and you will find out after it's on the wall. DO NOT ASSUME that you will be able to download the apps you use currently-- you have to check them individually as I wish I had. DO NOT ASSUME that because the app(s) you are used to using are pretty popular that you will be allowed to use them on your Vizio. Among others, Sling, one of THE most popular tv-watching apps for cord cutters, Vizio does not allow. Locked out. I had no idea. DO NOT ASSUME (I assumed, now I'm writing this review and thankful I'm within the return window). This was the ONE thing I didn't research. If you purchase this TV, Vizio will tell you what you are allowed to watch. If you are not ok with ordering from their limited menu, look elsewhere. Limiting their buyers to a small subset of apps is why Vizio is able to sell this tv at a low cost.......notice there is no mention of this ANYWHERE. Super shady, but at least now you know.

Amazing for the price!

Everything is great, however as with most TVs you’ll probably want a good sound system. I own several Vizio TVs and they have all been great so far!

It’s just too dark.

Yes I can turn up my contrast but technically that’s going to get rid of a lot of detail. Just overall I don’t think this product is worth as much as I spent. I feel like I should’ve gone the Sony a8h. But given its OLED too, it would probably be the same issue. In general I’m switching settings based on the content that I’m watching and it’s just a bit annoying.

Excellent TV

I like that there is a lot of streaming apps already on the TV. The only issue I had was when trying to put the screws in the back of the TV to hang it one of screw holders fell in so we had to put it on the stand. Beside that love the TV.

Decent for the price

I have it in a Apollo Tv Housing to protect it from the elements. Plenty of free channels to watch and the streaming using my iPhone or iPad work great so no need to add a cable/satellite box. If you are watching a lot of fast action or gaming on this tv its only 60 Hz are you should look for at least 120 Hz screen. Just wish the screen was brighter to watch midday but for the price and size it’s a bargain...

You won’t be happy!!!

But not even a month later I’m having sound issues my screen keeps on freezing I’ve called Visio twice and the only thing they could come up with is to keep rebooting it. Not happy with my purchase are vizio anymore I’m replacing all there products in my life with a different company that will value there customers

Great TV for the price
