Perfect linving room tv.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good for the money and has a very decent image after a good adjustment it matches the old 1080P Sony Bravia in the living room, my unit came factory seal but without any remote, power cord, and stands, no big deal I have spare units and the TV uses a smartphone app. Regarding the SmartCast built-in app, the resolution is fixed to 720P, and no way to change it up, when I play any 4K stream like from Disney plus the status bar still shows 720p Dolby Vision and no HDR, Totaly frustrated I ended purchasing a separate Rocku 4K Box to finally enjoy 4K streaming.

Ok but I don't recommend

In addition, the Smartcast streams frequently get hung up and the streaming app closes.

Not a very smart smart tv

But you can’t add apps that aren’t already on it or get on the internet like all other smart tv’s. If I had known that I wouldnt have purchased this tv. What kind of junk smart tv doesn’t let you add apps in the year 2021? Don’t buy this tv go with something else and save yourself the trouble. Unless you like streaming stuff from your phone or computer to your TV which defeats the purpose of a smart tv.

Half the time the “smartcast” shows an error message, the “cast” never works, and “airplay” doesn’t connect unless you reboot the tv. So anytime I want to watch something from my phone (hbo max) I have to completely reboot the tv, or if I want to watch an app on the “smartcast” it hardly works. Oh, and did I mention Vizio only offers like 12 apps so you have to buy another device (roku,Apple, etc.) to try to get all your streaming services? So much for a smart tv...my 12 year old (dumb) Samsung tv was better. Save your money.

Vizio basically gives you a list of their pre-approved apps from you yo choose from. It’s been a pain trying to navigate and get what I want out of this tv. Other tv’s have much better options right out of the box. Picture is great but the UI is reason enough to pass.

Broken Out Of The Box
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It has good visual quality- but that’s IF the tv turns on. 9 times out of 10, it just turns on a blue screen and never shows anything more than an entirely blue screen, sometimes it will turn on an app, other times it won’t. Most times I am forced to AirPlay from my phone or tablet just to get anything to show up. Try to use an app like Netflix or Prime Video on the Tv and it won’t pull up. This is one of the worst purchases I've ever made. Insanely frustrating for a 500$ tv.

dont get
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the first tv for almost 1 year and the picture or pixels section went bad.they replaced it and now this tv has not 1 not 2 not 3 but 5 sections of bad pixels sections that are dark. 1.5 years on this tv no thank you they are not worth the box they are shipped in
