SO I UPGRADED MY 2015 MODEL VIZIO E-SERIES 60", AND WOW!!! DEFINITELY A BIG DIFFERENCE IN THE WALL, PICTURE QUALITY IS GREAT, ESPECIALLY WHEN 4K CONTENT IS BEING PLAYED. I STILL HAVEN'T UPGRADED MY DIRECT TV TO 4K CHANNELS, BUT WE HAVE NETFLIX AND THEIRS QUITE A FEW CONTENT TO STREAM TO FEEL THE EXPERIENCE OF 4K. AM NOT A BIG NERD OR BEING PICKY ABOUT PICTURE QUALITY BUT I CAN DEFINITELY TELL PICTURE IMPROVEMENT COMPARED TO MY 60". THIS IS MY 3RD VIZIO TV AND THEY ARE ALL STILL WORKING. CHEERS VIZIO!.

I was looking for a 65" when I tripped across this 70" steal-of-a-deal Christmas sale TV. The picture is good. Regular cable TV looks great. The big surprise for me is the built-in Chromecast- this is not the regular Chromecast, its the Ultra version that does 4K (and costs $70 by itself) SO, watching YouTube videos and renting movies on Vudu has worked out really great. 4K video looks especially impressive (although paying $10 for a 4K movie? mmm... HD looks good enough for $6). The only minor problem we had was the initial setup, pairing the phone to it. A call to Vizio resulted in friendly AMERICAN help! How old fashioned is that?? Vizio's customer service was great so they get 10 stars for that!! This is the first Vizio product I have bought.

Bought this TV on sale for VetDay. I'm replacing a perfect 50" Samsung with a glass picture, that has a terrible glare problem during day light hours (that I bought from BB). This TV has good picture after adjusting color. Audio is not so good, so I bought a Vizio sound bar too. That is my only gripe. The TV is in our great room with lots of light, not a problem any longer.

This is a huge TV. I didn't realize how big a 70" TV could be until I took it out of it's box. Love it! I'm not sure about the 4K capabilities. I'm not really seeing that much of a difference visually. It was very easy to set up. Using your smart phone as the more detailed remote doesn't bother me. The Chromecast worked perfectly. I'm having some issues using my iPad Air tablet for casting. But I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 phone so I'm not that concerned. I also have a Roku 3 that I'm thinking of connecting to it also. Since Netflix is now available on Xfinity that's not a issue either for access. I connected my Vizio soundbar for audio. For the price under $1,000, I don't think you can go wrong purchasing this TV.

Got this on sale before thanksgiving. It was an awesome price. Tv has a great picture and is a good smart tv.

This is really a nice television. For the price, you really can't go wrong as the TV is made by a well respected maker of quality televisions and they pack some great features, specifically that of 4K and Google Chromecast. Their smartphone app is a nice touch as well. I usually tend to spend more and buy high end of the mid grade tier TVs but to be honest, I want ready to retire my high quality Samsung 60 inch 3D TV. However, when I saw this one on sale for under $900 at Christmas time, I decided to take the chance. I am happy that I did. To add a couple points to be aware of, the volume level is rather mediocre at best. It sounds good as far as quality goes, bit you'll find yourself pushing the volume to 80-90 often if you have the TV in a place with typical family noise. 2nd, this TV doesn't have built in 'apps' so when you expect a smart TV filled with icons to run things look like YouTube, it's not there. I'll admit though, that as soon as you get used to using the Chromecast feature of Vizio Smartcase from your smart device/phone, you don't even miss the apps. It works very nicely.

I am very happy with the performance of this TV. The 4K viewing is beautiful, although there a minimal viewing options. I have this TV in a large size room, and it is easily watchable from 25+ feet from the screen. I am very impressed with the ability to easily cast different apps directly to the TV. The remote is very minimal, but the Vizio App turns your smart phone into the remote, which works great. The TV struggles with keeping blacks as dark as previous plasma TV's I've owned or compared to the newer HDR tvs. For the price this is a great value

The picture is amazing. It has all the apps you need and they work great. The remote could use an upgrade.

I had never owned lcd tv, only plasma(s). Also, I was familiar only with chromecast dongle. I bought this tv on the spur of moment, based on reviews and price. Two things: 1) lcd has motion blurr and 2) wireless reception is a challenge. So I came up with ethernet connect and got used to blurr. That said, color and picture is good, especially for the money.

I was looking for a 4K tv and this went on sale. I only have two issues, one it takes a few seconds to come on - maybe that's due to the size. The other is the volume seems loud, maybe it's just me by the tv is rarely over 5 or 6 on the volume. I ve used it to watch amazon prime and had no problem connecting or either screen quality.

The size is great & the picture quality is great. I just wish the color was more vibrant, it seems a bit dull but it is possible that I am just being picky. If that isn't something that your big on then this television is awesome. Another problem however, is that the remote sucks. Its a tiny remote with basic buttons like volume, channel, power, mute etc.For things like Netflix, Hulu, Youtube & other apps you have to download an app on your actual phone or on other devices and link it to your television. This is something I hate about the television because it requires an external source to operate these apps instead of operating it directly through the television. But again if this is something you don't care about then this television is perfect, my family loves it!
