Purchased this on a whim for our basement and it works great! I actually love that it is sleek and doesn't have any coex connection s because we stream all our television shows. I use my phone as a remote and that is nice. Overall really happy with this purchase and happy I was able to get such a nice TV for the price.

A big fan of Sony back in the day.. then Samsung/LG improved their displays over the next few decades and now are considered to be on par with Sony. I've been hearing more and more feedback amongst peers that they're satisfied with their Vizio, so this is the first Vizio I've tried, and so far, so good.

I bought it and didn't get the warranty, like an idiot! We just bought a house and were fixing it up so it stayed in the box for a few weeks. When we got it out of the box and watched it, it was fine. It stopped working after 5 hours! The black light, I believe, went out out and now we have to wait 10 business days for vizio to replace it. Warning...don't buy!

it is not bad for the price I paid. Picture is good, a bit fuzzy, but not bad at all. do not care much about the remote that comes with it but use my harmony instead. Recommend for the price!

This is a fantastic display. For the money, you will not find a better option. It is a welcome concept as it cuts cost by removing functions that are rarely needed. Unfortunately, if you purchase this display without thinking it through it may leave you frustrated. If you simply want a great 4K display at an affordable price, then this is a great buy. If you want a smart TV then you will be disappointed but can still make it work for you with less expense than a more expensive set. For my purposes, I simply wanted a 4K display for my Xbox one X. I watch cable television through this and use the Xbox apps exclusively for Netflix etc. It works very well for this purpose and I was very pleased with the performance on video games. Many have complained about the included remote which I agree is next to useless, but I use my Xbox remote to control the TV. The phone app actually works seamlessly to program the picture so I don’t even need the remote. If someone wants this Display for a “smart tv”, there is a screencast function which allows you to use a mobile phone to control the TV. However, if I didn’t have the Xbox One X, I would invest in the new Roku 4K. It has a remote that can control a TV, has voice functionality and will make the display a robust “smart tv” for much less than purchasing a more expensive tv. With Apple, Google, Amazon and Roku all makbig 4K options, it is easy to transform this display into a smart TV. If you always have your cellphone with you then then screencast function will give you all the smart tv you need. In summary, most of the negative reviews complain about the remote, lack of apps without a phone and lack of a TV tuner. However, most people rarely touch a remote since they have a cable/satellite/fios remote, there are inexpensive ways to get smart fubctionality, and if you need a TV tuner, you probably don’t need a 4K display. I thank Vizio for having the foresight to get rid of these options to deliver a 4K display with HDR functionality at the price of 1080p.

Good Tv for the price paid. The only problem that I found was that you will have to adjust the color on the tv once your add your HDMI cable along with your cable box which found to be easy. Once again a good tv. I will re-purchase

I had Geek squad installation which I would recommend. Also bought the wireless audio package. Geek Squad ran wire, made connections to modem and cable, configured existing hardware and educated me on how the systems work together.

The television is wonderful and set up was easy. The only issue is the tv sits on two V- Shaped legs that are at the very ends of the tv. You need an extremely long stand to accommodate this tv. 55" minimum.

I have several Vizio TVs, but as they fail, I WILL NOT be staying with this brand! This 70” has a string of LEDs burnt out already, my 60” Vizio has 3 strips burnt out. My daughter’s 32” Vizio is very temperamental(disconnecting, powering off, freezing). I initially thought they were a great brand, but their products have really seemed to go downhill, consumer reports will guide me to my replacements, and they don’t speak that highly of this brand either.
