Screen stopped working after 30 min

After 30 min the screen went black. We called Vizio amd they told us the tv would need to be replaced. Then the nightmare with Best Buy began. After multiple days & hours on the phone with getting a complete runaround we simply returned the tv. I will NEVER purchase ANYTHING from Best Buy again. My worst experience with "customer service" in my entire 53 years on this earth!

Defective Tv

Busted after 2 years of use!

Apparently this 70” model has an issue with the backlighting. Over the course of about 2 weeks, the picture was dark. We bought a 55” at the same time and it still works as great as the day we bought it. Do your research.

A annoying line across the screen, about 6 inches

I called to report a line across the screen and asked if I could return for a new set or have someone out to look at it. The response was no, you've purchased a lower tv and I could buy a more expensive one. No one wanted to help. I've spent over $3K the last 45 days. I won't be spending any more at Best Buy. Again, very disappointed!

I can barely see any menu items. Very disappointed with this purchase and I am also out of warranty so can’t get it replaced

Took back

So even the babysitter has to download a app to use the tv. If my older kids are home alone {they don't have phones} they can't watch the tv

Posted .Sorry this Display didn't work out for you. The SmartCast App is only necessary to setup the Display for Casting, and to access advanced settings. Once the Display has been connected to the internet, and you've adjusted the display and audio settings to your preference, the basic remote will work to adjust audio, select inputs, and power the Display On and Off. You wouldn't have to use the SmartCast app for basic functions. Since SmartCast uses Google Cast technology to cast content from mobile device like phones or tablet, if you hired a babysitter, and they used an application you don't have, like Crackle, Vudu, or Hulu they could watch that content on your display using their account. All without having to sign into your display at all.

Posted .Thank you for taking the time to review our product. Picture quality can vary depending on a few things. VIZIO television have several picture settings that can be adjusted to dial the picture quality in, and get the most out of your display. Ussually if colors are appearing 'Washed out' it's because the TV's settings are on a pre-set designed for a bright area. Changing your picture mode to 'Calibrated Dark' may help the colors appear with more depth. You can also individually adjust the picture settings for brightness, and color.

Great Pic .. But

I also love Chromecast and use 4 of them on my other tvs. So I thought this would be a great investment. The TV is great- Amazing picture. But if you don't have your phone or Casting device, the remote that comes with it is useless. Not to mention, I am a big sports person and ESPN doesnt Cast on the Vizio Cast, so I had to buy another Chromecast to just cast ESPN. For me I would prefer the Vizio with the Smart TV vs the chromecast. I will probably return this just for this reason alone..

Missing Remote

I paid 1400.00 won’t work after a year
