Overall. I am happy with the TV but it's not perfect. The picture on the tv is good but not as sharp as my previous 60 inch Samsung. However, the color is better. Not a fan of Chromecast , I'm using a Fire TV for streaming. It's much easier. It's too bad it does not have a Tuner. I am using a Tivo so no need for a tuner. I recommend this tv because of the value. I wanted a 70 inch tv at a good price, with a good picture. It fits the bill.

Using SmartCast is very difficult. I had a smart TV prior and would never buy another Visio.

The original TV did not work when delivered Vizio sent a new one that one works fine

The TV has a great picture and I am mostly happy with it. There are 2 things that would make it better. The obvious one is no tuner. With cord cutting becoming popular I feel this is almost a must. I use A Tivo to solve this problem. The second is only one HDMI input is HDCP 2.2 compliant. I also am not a fan of Chromcast. I don't like using my phone to watch tv. There are a few apps available directly on the tv, but they are limited.

Let's get real. When you compare the price you pay with what you get, it deserves 5 stars. This is a Vizio TV, with great 4K resolution, several HDMI ports, easy to connect to your sound bar and very easy and intuitive to use. A lot of people complain about the remote, again, you will use it just to turn it on, and then you will use either your cellphone to cast or your Roku/Apple TV remote. It is a huge TV, I play my Xbox and it is just great! I'd definitely would recommend this TV to any one.

70" 4K HD for $999? I can't believe EVERYONE isn't buying this. It was nicely packaged, quick easy install, impressively low weight... The blacks are deep black, the whites are bright white! The picture is great! Speakers suck; but they point directly downward at the floor- so how COULD they sound good? We had a sound bar already, so no complaints. I assure you that only a serious tech geek/TV professional nerd could find any complaints with this TV.

Tv is great good picture and size. Looks great from many angles

We were notified that we were receiving a new and updated remote control. This TV has lasted over the years. It would update when necessary. Our children love this TV as it use to sit in their playroom.

Cheaper 70" you will find around, yet very good quality image and sound. Smartcast a bit annoying as i don't like too many app on my phone.

Pretty good tv for the price. Sometimes the picture can be way too dark and the settings don’t seem to help. After 5 years the backlight has gone out.

Worked great for 3.75 years (had one year manufacturers + two year Geek Squad extended warranties) then backlights started failing over the last couple of months. Lost about a third of the screen so replaced it today after receiving repair quotes over $400 (paid $529 for an Insignia QLED 70”). Enjoyed the Vizio but disappointed it began failing 9 months past warranty and that repair cost is too expensive to justify given lower new TV prices.

Great TV, great picture/ get 4k dvd and streaming stuff, also makes sure to get 4k from your cable provider

Nice TV all things considered the screen started going out about a year maybe year and a half after purchase and today 1-2-2023 the tv went completely dead ,no power ,no screen ,no nothing. If Vizio is made to burn out after only 5 years maybe they should replace the lesser parts in the tvs with higher quality ones. Won't be recommending the brand for sure to anyone.

I bought this 70" model as an upgrade from my 65" Toshiba so we can use it for my daughter's bday party. I have a Samsung surround sound system that I was anticipating to use for a karaoke party. However, things did NOT turn out as planned since I did not notice that this TV cannot be connected to my Platinum karaoke system that uses the RCA cable (red, white and yellow). My guests helped me unmount the TV from the wall to try and fugire out how our karaoke would work but no success. I was completely saddened and only resolution was to buy a new karaoke system that uses HDMI that would cost me another $500 OR just return this TV and get something else that would work for my karaoke. Any suggestions on any TV that has this capability for RCA cables?

This is now my 3rd Vizio TV and this one is the best yet! I have had a 60", 65", and now the 70". This one with the Ultra 4K is by far the best one. Colors are better and brighter! For $1,000 you cant go wrong with a 70". Sound is horrible but that is how most TVs are! Have it hooked up to a Onkyo receiver with Klipsch speakers and love my entertainment system. Overall the biggest bang for the buck. Would recommend this TV to anyone wanted to upgrade to a 70".

Love the size of this TV. Got a great Black Friday deal. It's got a good picture for the size.
