They Can Do Better

We've had this tv for about 1.5 years and it's been plagued with issues and now completely useless. The tv is looks mazing, but the software is lagging and lacking to say the least. The "smart" part of the tv constantly freezes or needs to be rebooted, forcing you to use a 3rd party streaming device, which isn't that big of a deal but besides from the size we purchased this tv for the all in one use. The sound is not that great, and if you're buying a tv of this size most likely the room it's going in is decent sized so you will need a sound bar or more to hear your shows/movies. Lastly, the tv has now become useless after turning it on to watch a movie and having a red line right down the screen. Look elsewhere as it's not worth the hassle.

The chromecast platform takes a bit of a learning curve if you are used to roku or fire. I was very disappointed though to find out it does not work with google assistant. I have google home, and I bought a chromecast tv specifically because I naively thought a google platform would work with it.
