Posted .Hello Concord, this TV uses our SmartCast Platform which offers a host of built in apps, as well as support for Google's Chromecast, Apple's AirPlay 2, and voice support for SIRI, Google Home, and Alexa. You are not able to manually download additional apps, however new apps are added to the platform often. If you find there is an app you want to watch that is not on SmartCast you may be able to cast it using Chromecast or Apple AirPlay from your phone or mobile device. It's A No For Me

But the picture quality even when adjusted to the recommended best settings are just okay at best. The clarity just isn't there. I wish I would have bought the Samsung. So disappointed.

Never buy a Vizio (took me 7 TVs to learn this)

As for Vizio, they don't really warranty their products. Mine was manufactured poorly, and unfortunately by the time I hung it on the wall, 15 days had passed. On to Vizio! They refuse to replace my defective TV with a new one, but insist I am only entitled to a refurbished one, even though I purchased a new one 20 days ago!

Buy TCL or Samsung

It’s the software. You don’t know how important that actually is. Roku software is sooooo much better. Couldn’t get a game to play, had to go watch on my smaller tcl: and watching those games is the point. Can’t add apps, allllll the apps in the world are already there. Then try to compensate by saying just cast it. The casting sucks. Vizio is bad. For what you pay for in this category TVs shouldn’t be allowed to be this bad.

Vizio? - Save your money for something else

The pictures are not crystal-clear images, especially on the HD channels. It is such a major difference that you can't ignore it. This is not what I have seen on the floor of Best Buy prior to a purchase. The TV is also a little narrower than the 70" Insignia it replaced, or my house grew a bit prior to the new TV replacement.
