Customers are saying

Customers commend the 75" Class P-Series Quantum X Series LED 4K UHD SmartCast TV's exceptional picture quality, brightness, and deep blacks, frequently praising its performance with HDR content and in gaming. However, some users reported issues with the software's stability and motion handling, while others noted inconsistencies with variable refresh rate (VRR) functionality and upscaling capabilities. A few also mentioned blooming as a concern in certain viewing situations.

The TV works good for some viewing but depending on the scene you are viewing there is blooming and some times in dark scenes the backlights flash off and on. Maybe they will figure out all the bugs in the future but for now the tv is going back. Also, the input selection has locked up and required me to turn off the tv and back on for it to start working again.

Currently does not support PS5 4k at 120fps, fairly buggy performance overall, not enough lighting zones giving areas weird illumination effects when active full array is enabled that bleed over other areas, also the active full array is quite slow to adapt to the image so you see a lag and lighting affects occur after it was supposed to.

    Disney WOW Contrast Calibration Fail?

Ive owned this 75" Vizio PQX tv for about a month now and I'm really trying to like it. I typically watch in a partially lit room and have the picture mode set at either calibrated or calibrated dark. The blacks are great and are easily adjusted with the brightness adjustment (actually a darkness adjustment). But the brightness is practically blinding & many times shows the entire image as somewhat washed out. Ive tried reducing the backlight as well as the contrast setting but neither will permit whites that appear reasonably balanced. Ive even tried setting up contrast with the Disney WOW calibration disk but when I pull up the white checkerboard test pattern, all that is visible is a totally white image area. No amount of adjusting will allow the white checkerboard test pattern to become visible. Am I missing something? Or is it possible I just have a bad display?

I got this couple of weeks ago. I was looking forward to this tv. The first day I turned it on, I saw the pow I was like wow!! The second day it seemed it lost its pop , day by day it looked meh. Screen twitching, artifacts on the screen , flashes on the wall on the movie I was watching. Netflix content look liked crap, blu ray content and dvd content looked like complete garbage!!! On hdr 10 screen kept flashing and the motion blur was horrendous!! Ppl walking from side to side left a crazy blur trail behind the person on the screen! I was expecting much more from this tv and it’s not cheap!! I returned it and got the lg nanocell 90! Waaay better than that garbage tv!

Freight delivery was to the garage and we needed both of us to carry the TV (boxed) into the house. We were both able to do so. It does emphasize not pushing against the glass screen and we were concerned about this when taking it out of the box, but it does have handhold places on the back that allow you to lift it and just keep your other hand at the edge near the top — you’ll need two people to unbox this and move it around. Love the feet — no huge base that takes up space. The two simple legs allow you to set a sound bar in front, where a base may not. The legs are easy to add (just set the TV down onto the legs and use screws to secure) and remove. At first we were dismayed at the picture, but played around with the settings. Once we did this, we were rather impressed with the brightness that we had while maintaining quality and color. We compared this side by side with the TV it was replacing and the brightness was considerably better than our three (ish) year old LED brand name TV. Mounting was as expected; just bigger and heavier than past TVs. :) We like the built-in apps that this as a Smart TV has. We are having trouble getting our Harmony Elite remote to work fully. Worked easily with iPhone screen mirroring. We like the small frame edge that allows the focus to be on the screen instead of having a wide frame edge distracting the viewer. The cable connections being at both ends versus being in the middle was a minus, because it makes it difficult to combine all cables to a central wall access panel, which we have. All in all, we are pleased with the quality and brightness of the picture and the ease of using the Smart TV apps. The old TV has been moved to the exercise room and this TV is now in the prized living room spot. ;)
