    Frequent annoyances, subpar sound

    The sound is mediocre and we experience frequent problems. We have an Apple TV 4k and a recent Samsung TV, and this soundbar is consistently annoying. The soundbar itself frequently has a slight buzzing which dissipates after restarting it (and yes, it is properly grounded), and the surrounds are so weak they have to be very close to the viewer to be effective. So if the room you're viewing is larger than apartment-size, you have to use speaker stands to make them useful. If the Apple TV goes to sleep due to inactivity, the sound bar turns off and does not power back on when waking the Apple TV, so then we have to find the soundbar remote again and turn it on manually, and it boots surprisingly slowly considering its rather simple function. All in all a disappointing experience at best.

    The M Series Elevate 5.1.2 was an excellent value. I returned it because it overpowered my small space. It echoed and was difficult to hear dialogue. It would be great in a larger environment.

    I was not impressed at all with this sound bar system. The subwoofer output was anemic and the quality of sound was not up to the elevate Series standards... Returned and purchased The original elevate and there's just simply no comparison. And for what I paid.$699 for the original elevate.. same price as this . soundbar...... In my opinion avoid .

    I really didn’t enjoy this sound bar much. Between the forced bass rumbles on anything you watch and the remotes led screen which will eventually go out I decided to return it. Honestly I’d skip this if you are on the fence

    Connectivity is the issue plaguing this system. The delay with eArc is alarmingly slow. At least a minute upon turning on the TV for it to sync. Bluetooth connections was just as poor or worse. Sound quality was mediocre.

    I have almost 2 years with this.so far im not enjoying this and i keep playing with the setting. at first the dialoque was too low then i figure out how to make the dialoque sound high then i couldnt hear loud clear sound when they is a gun shoot out or explosion.i thinking about upgrading to sonos soon.

    I get more dynamic sound out of my tv speakers. Even with adjusting the settings all I can hear from this sound bar is too much base and not enough clarity

    Nonstop Connection Issues

    It has some neat features, but it would regularly lose connection to my LG OLED TV. It would rarely pair and when it did, it would lose connection to the TV the next day. After 59 days, I returned it. Good riddance!

    Perfect soundbar choice for me!

    I have a VIZIO TV but since my old sound bar doesn't support Dolby ATMOS, I decided to give this M-Elevate a try. WOW! I am so impressed with the sound quality of this bar. I never knew what ATMOS was until now. When I watch an ATMOS movie on Netflix, the surround sound fills the entire room, even my dog Katie jumps up to see what is going on. I really like the design of the bar, especially the little ears that pop out from both ends and light up when you play ATMOS content. I also can't believe the amount of bass that comes out from the little subwoofer. I'm not very technical but connecting this bar to my VIZIO TV was super easy with the included HDMI cable. So glad I decided to update my sound bar to this one!

    This is the one sound bar that will not work unless us reset it evert time you turn on your TV, The fix from Vizio is to reset it and now that it works its fixed. Don't buy it. What good is the sound if you have to reset the system every time you turn it on. Kids and the wife have to be trained. DON'T BUY IT
