Great Soundbar but…

I have two Vizio TVs (M-Series and PQ-Series), I own an older model Soundbar SB3651-e6 also. New to my collection is the Soundbar M-Elevate that was offered for about $500 for Black Friday. I’m super excited and the sound is impressive. I love the design and the functionality overall. A very solid system for sure! However, the M-Elevate Soundbar does not support Wi-Fi or built-in chromecast. My 5 year old, $150 at the time, SB3651-e6 had Wi-Fi plus built in chromecast available… Not having a fast Wi-Fi audio streaming option, a way for firmware updates and the use of the Vizio App available, is pretty disappointing for a system that is offered within the price range. ($799 MSRP) I’m torn, considering returning the system and go for a different brand, but I want to be loyal to Vizio…

Do not recommend
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this soundbar with speakers for over a year and have had nothing but problems. It disconnects from my TV at least 2 times per week requiring for me to remove it from my mantle, unplug it and reset it to be able to use it. I wish I would have known this prior to purchasing it and would have never bought it. Vizio has offered no solutions through multiple attempts. The sound is great but it’s not worth it for the hassle to use it.

Disposable Products.

The second they are out of warranty Vizio will give you zero support or servicing options and will happily tell you to just buy another one! They will read a script of troubleshooting that you probably already tried from Google and then give up. Go with another company or at worst get the BestBuy extended warranty with these disposable soundbars.

Never Waste Your Money on Vizio Audio Equipment

The saddest part is that all of the issues would have been easily fixable through software updates but Vizio has a terrible habit of ending all product support for its current generation products the moment a newer version is announced. You get what you pay for I guess, but they'll never get my business again.
