Great 4K TV and Excellent Value

I initially bought two TV's for my new house. This 4K Vizio and a Samsung LED. The picture is very clear and upscaling really makes a difference on the Vizio 4K. I ended up returning the Samsung because the difference in price was not really that much. the Vizio is a much better value, Especially if you can find an open box!

    Outstanding TV

Purchased the 65 inch p series tv last month at $1499 and also the Vizio 2.1 soundbar for $199. Had the new tv delivered on 12/8 and the old rear projection tv hauled away. When the old tv broke, I decided not to repair it and purchase a new one. Best decision I ever made. I got the Vizio tv and the soundbar set up with my existing old non-HD cable box and it was great. That tv and soundbar were made for each other. Then I decided to upgrade my cable box to HD. Went to my cable provider and picked up the HD cable box for $10 extra monthly. When I hooked up that new box (with HDMI) to the Vizio UHD tv, it was as though I unleashed a movie theatre into my home. WOW. The picture is crisp with vivid colors. The quality of each channel is awesome. My eyesight is not as good as it used to be but this tv has brought new definition into tv viewing. I'm not just watching tv. I am experiencing theatre viewing. All I have to do is add the popcorn. I admit I was leary about purchasing this tv due to some bad reviews on this link and I realize you do get what you pay for but not in my case. This tv and soundbar package coupled with the great service from Best Buy has proven to be very positive. I feel Vizio has hit a homerun with their new P series line and this 65 inch tv is truely amazing. Quality theatre viewing at a very low price.

I am very happy with this purchase. When i first got the tv i was disappointed with the motion of this tv when the scenes of movies or sports go fast. I was seriously thinking of returning the tv. After some tweaking and reading some other reviews this is what you have to do. Try these picture settings, Smooth Motion Effect = Off , Clear Action = Off, Reduce Signal Noise = Off. This will eliminate the stupid blurring issues you have when viewing movies or sports. The sound is decent but i will probably need a vizio sound bar or system later.

    Vizio worst customer service ever

I would not recommend a Vizio television to anyone unless you are just looking for frustration and anger. There are 1,200 complaints about Vizio products and wow, can I speak to the frustration. Best Buy sold me the Vizio television right after black Friday. I was so excited about the television and it was good for about a month. I started to notice the picture flickering and it would turn off unexpectedly. One day I leave the house and come home and television will not turn on. I spent an hour on the phone with Vizio support who finally agreed to send me a "re-certified" television. I haven't even owned this television for 4 months. They guarantee that I will have it with 7-10 business days. I work from home on the day of the delivery, giddy that my television will be fixed -- wait all day and finally call the freight company, who proceeds to tell me that umm, they messed up and shipped my television BACK TO CALIFORNIA. Upset - I call Vizio who told me on the phone "how would you propose we solve this situation?" Seriously? I demanded to speak to a supervisor who told me they would investigate the issue and call me back. No phone call back - nothing. I called them, they said sorry but then said we have to ship you another "re-certified" television and it will be 5-7 business days, best they could do. I asked what they were going to do about the 3 weeks that I did not have the television plus the additional week that I now have to wait on. I even asked them if they would extend my warranty by a month - the customer service reps says "sure we can extend it by 3-5 years, but you need to pay for it?" Are you kidding me? I have been through the ringer for 3 weeks and then they have the audacity to ask for more money. Needless to say, I still don't have the television, I am more frustrated than ever and still cannot believe that I allowed myself to buy a Vizio television - Stay, stay, stay away from their product. Their customer service is the worst and they could care less about the consumer. Best Buy should stop selling their products, it truly is awful how bad their product is and how bad their customer service is -- I am very disappointed because the picture looked so good, while the tv worked. I never again will buy a Vizio - Best Buy should take notice and think about the consumers and require certain standards from their products and the companies they sell for - this makes Best Buy look bad because the salesperson really sold me on this television. I rue the day that I ever walked into Best Buy and chose this television.

Not really a Vizio fan, but after having it calibrated ... WOW! The picture quality is awesome. For the price, this is a great product. When picking one up, invest in a sound bar as well.

I have a very discerning eye and decided to purchase this TV because of both price and my previous experience with Visio products, which has been very positive. The picture on the 65" model is absolutely outstanding! It brings a whole new meaning to clarity. The tones are true, the levels at standard are perfect, the contrasts ridiculously sharp and the brightness breathtaking. It is amazing how this set transforms all content into an experience that looks like the you are there or that you are viewing the master print recording. I have viewed it with streaming content, Blu Ray, DVD, PS3, PS4 and all were stunning. No movement artifacts, no choppiness or other picture flaws, just perfection. The only area that I had any issue is in the audio. I output the TV sound into my home theater setup and it is slightly out of phase, so I turned the TV speakers off. I am sure there is something I have not explored to remedy this, but I have not had the patience to investigate yet. All I can say is that the 65" is beautiful. The only item that I miss is the picture-in-picture function. This also does not have standard composite input, so if you have an older component like a VCR that you still use to watch tapes or have yet to convert them to DVD - (cough), then you are out of luck. Otherwise, at the time I am writing this, there is no better value for a 65" 4K TV than this one!

Please don't waste your money buying more expensive brands. This TV is awesome. I am in disbelief about the quality and definition of this tv. Ive had it for just over one week, and I love it... its half the price of others, has 240 refresh rate with clear motion of 960, and also has a six core processor. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON OTHER BRANDS... VIZIO is IT !!!

I have had much success and have been very pleased with my previous Samsung LED's however this set is an excellent value for a 4k Smart TV and offers a wide range of features with an excellent display and phenomenal contrast. If you are an early adopter and are looking for a 4k set, especially for gaming, look no further as this set is excellent, especially at 1499 for a 65" 4k display.

Very entry level UHD LED TV. Image processing not up to par compared to major brands. Refresh rate was choppy, fast motion appeared to flicker and was not smooth. Dark images were grainy. Ended up returning after 1 day and buying the 65 inch LG UB9500, which was a few hundred more, but way better image quality and more features, including 3D. I have Comcast with HD channels, upscaling image was very poor. Blueray movies were a little better. The LG performed much better with upscaling Comcast HD channels, and bluerays look amazing.

    $1500 for a 65" 4k hdtv!?!

The black friday deal was a great deal for a 4k hdtv. Pros: - Great overall picture quality - Works great with dvr, from sports to mtv the picture is great - Price, Value Cons: - Block effect during very intense action scenes that involve a lot of cgi ie. any transformers movie in blu ray looks amazing until you get into a very intense action scene - It sometimes quickly blacks out and comes back to the input it was on - Friends and family will get jealous. - Too big for my small apt, no ragrets. Caution: You may be forced into hosting a Superbowl party bc your tv is amazing. You may also be forced into hosting movie night.

Great for casual viewing horrible for football.

Purchased this t.v on black friday weekend for $1500. I was excited had read some great reviews on it and the price was great. Took it home set it up, wow beautiful picture. Very crisp picture and 4k up scaling seems to give a pretty picture. I was happy then came sunday. Had friends & family come over for football. Here comes the bad motion blur and blocking was bad. On certain punts and long balls the football would disappear. I was disappointed to say the least. So not wanting to give up on it I tried almost every picture adjustment I could find to no avail. Even the motion settings installed on the t.v did nothing to correct this issue. Ultimately after 2 weeks it was time to go back to the store. Settled on the sony and my gosh it blows the Vizio away in almost every way possible. Though the sony was 1k more it makes up the difference in its sheer performance. Until vizio corrects this issue leave it in the store unless its under 1k. Get the sony.

    Don't Waste Your Money

First let tell you I am not one for writing a review. In this case I had too. I would not want any one else to waste their money on this product. First I will tell you that the TV needs to be calibrated to get the best picture out of the box the picture looks horrible. Since I got the tv I recieved 2 updates and they have improved in the quality of the picture. My 5 year old Samsung still has a better picture. I had the tv for 1 month and now I am experiencing no video when I turn it on. I will be getting a replacement in but i am completely unsatisfied. I hope this helps. By the way read the reviews in forums and you will see what i am talking about that your tv needs to be calibrated.

The Colors, Blacks & Whites are SUPERB ! I was watching Thor 2 on blu ray, the upscaling works amazingly, and scenes with dark environments or just plain black obscure areas were showing PURE BLACK. Not that faint purplish, or blueish black. iPhone becomes a remote for Netflix and YouTube - SEAMLESSLY ! I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS!
