The remote only lasted a few months. When I contacted Vizio customer service they essentially threw their hands up in the air once it stopped powering on because it was no longer under warrranty. This was the response from customer service, "I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with the soundbar, we always hope that our products last for years, but unfortunately they are electronic items so they can fail at any time for any reason. Once the unit is out of warranty, our options become limited to what we can do." I would not purchase Vizio again.
