    BestBuy claims "Open-Box Excellent: Product looks brand new and includes all original parts and accessories." Somehow....3.5mm to 3.5mm Audio Cable; Coaxial Audio Cable; HDMI Cable; Digital Optical Cable; 4 x Wall Mount Screw; 4 x Wall Mount Brackets are all missing... Btw really appreciate you guys left power cables in the box - -

    I have an old Vizio sound bar which sounds great so I figured this new one would be top notch but it's junk. The sound was awful, the sub wasn't good at all and the two small speakers rattled and sounded like they were blown. Don't waste your time or your money on this junk. We took it back and got an LG which is amazing!!

    So it works really well as an expensive sound bar for my iPhone, but it doesn't work at all (I've been on with customer service 5 times) with my TV. So big waste of $.

    Took it out of box and hooked it to my TV, it didn't work. Called Vizio and they said theyes new about a update problem with this particular sound system.

    THIS PRODUCT WAS HORRIBLE. WOULD ALWAYS SHUT OFF AND NEVER TURN BACK ON. WOULD HAVE TO UNPLUG IT JUST TO GET IT TO RESET TO WORK AGAIN.

    Slim Wireless Sub!! Enough Said

    This system is great! Sounds perfect with ARC or Optical connections. What I love about this product is that you can control the volume for all the speakers especially the Sub is SLIM, so you can tuck it under the SOFA!!. Bass sound good and can be control to the volume of your preference. Love watching movies with this system. I recommended to all my friends. Cons: the remote sometimes lag with the sound bar and LCD screen on the remote is not lit.

    Rear speakers are very very low. Just does not have enough punch to feel the effect. Did not expect this from Vizio.

      Thank you for your feedback. A few things that may help you is that you can adjust the volume level of the rear speakers through the SmartCast Mobile Application or through the included remote. VIZIO

    Great if you place the Subwoofer under the Couch

    This sound system is made to put the subwoofer under the couch. Just streamed the movie Hackswaw Ridge. Every explosion vibrated the couch and you in it. This duplicated the movie theatre experience with the expensive seats that vibrate. My couch faces the TV, so it is the best seat for viewing movies. Bonus: my wife sits with me on the couch to watch movies. Bought two stands and put the satillite speakers right behind and beside the couch. I use the app to adjust the system to set everything up, very easy. I adjusted the volume of the bar, satellite speakers, and subwoofer while watching a couple movies with the app until I had the total sound experience to my liking. My advice is this is the system to buy if you plan on sticking the bass under the couch and you appreciate the surround sound movie theater experience. CNET said the bass was too powerful. They don't understand the system is designed to be placed under the couch so you feel every explosion, car jump, monster stomp, earthquake, spaceship crash and comic book hero thump.

    Great While It Worked!

    Amazing soundbar system and love the design of the subwoofer (hiding under the sofa - simply genius). Definitely the loudest soundbar system I've ever owned. But, as a couple folks reported on other sites, sound does drop out briefly ever now and again - I contribute this to streaming shows/movies, as sound is perfectly fine when watching via my cable box/DVR. Unfortunately, after only one month the soundbar is unable to pair with any remote via Bluetooth and I'm no longer able to get sound, regardless of input. After a little research, I discovered that someone else has run into this problem (you can see his review and recommendations over at another online retailer), so maybe this is a software glitch...? Vizio support has been friendly enough, but I'm overall disappointed as this is the second Vizio product to fail on me shortly after purchase (I recently reviewed a P-Series monitor/TV here on Best Buy). Silver lining is that I qualified for an Advanced Replacement - meaning Vizio ships out a new unit before I had to return anything on my end, which saves me from hunting down a box big enough to ship this back in. I'd love to give this four stars, but because this is my second Vizio issue in about two weeks (albeit on two different items), I'm struggling with overall quality. Hopefully no one else runs into the same problems!

    I really like the sleekness of this sound bar. Setup is quick and super easy. The sub woofer is sleek and nice looking with great sound reproduction. The remote looks basic and works OK, could have been designed to look better/rich in hand. Feeling very happy about this purchase.

    I read all the reviews and kept going back and forth on this. Was out shopping and checked to see if they would match the price at another store. So I figured I would take a chance on this and really glad I did. The reviews were correct that the setup is tricky but with most surround sound systems I have ever used that's always expected. The documentation is pretty worthless so if you have not done this before it might be worth the money to get it installed for you. We were blown away with the quality of the sound and the woofer is amazing adding the Google home casting is really makes watching TV fun. Love the sleek woofer, the Casting and the sound quality. Our room is small so I cannot speak to how it would do in a large room but My guess it would do a better than average job. BUY THIS UNIT well worth money.

    Solid Sound, but missed on consistency

    My wife and I purchased this system and right off the bluetooth and smarcast wouldn't work. Without Smartcast it is very tough to program the soundbar (remote is useless, and no lcd interface on soundbar to help you navigate, so you are flying blind). Secondly, the speaker cut in and out about every 3 minutes (would switch to TV speakers for like 3 seconds, then switch back to speakers). So after about 3 hours I took all the equipment back down and returned it. The replacement: smartcast works, Bluetooth does not, speakers fade in and out, but much less frequently. Overall, if the interface worked, and all the technology did as well, it would be an awesome set. But I have spent about 5 hours trying to get things set up and working (and I am pretty good with tech) and volume leveling and bluetooth are still not working. Taking it back again, which stinks because the sound is solid when its working.

    Awesome! Theatre Like Sound!

    I purchased this soundbar to go along with the 70 in 4K TV. I thought it would not be sufficient sound coming from a very slim sound bar however size did not matter here. It produced great clear theatre like sound for my large living room! My brother went and bought one for himself. Do not underestimate Vizio! To get optimal sound out of these speaker you will have to tweak the settings on the remote. Once you turn off TruVolume and Night mode .. These speakers and subwoofer come ALIVE! Will definitely recommend! AMAZING SOUND FOR EVERY DOLLAR!

    @Vizio support, Bought Vizio SB 4551 5.1 home theater a month back. Was extremely happy with the quality of the sound and subwoofer performance and then one fine day I noticed that subwoofer stopped playing. ....thought that it should be a pairing problem and tried resetting it on my own following user guide but didn't worked. Called customer care and though associate was very nice and tried to help but he couldn't figure out what's happening and couldn't make it work after 1hr of long call. However I kept trying and then finally it started working after 2hrs of hit and trial . I thought am back to my happy music life. ....and then very next day same problem again. Again called customer care. ..they were again nice and spent another hour to get this work. I thought now all is well. ...third day in row same problem again. Finally I thought this is a defective piece and got it changed with the new one. I just loved it so much that bought the same model again. Here it is now, today is third day and same problem started again long calls with customer care started.....I see now that the software of this system definitely has a problem because this is 2nd system new again and still giving same problem. Vizio customer care are clueless about this problem and it's permanent solution. Hope someone can help me after reading this review. Thinking to have this changed again. ...with this same model? Not sure what if that again has same problem. Would have loved if it continued to work flawlessly which isn't the case
