Needed to upgrade control. Have not really used Voice Remote, Other than that, works fine

Worthless! I bought this as a Father's Day gift for my Dad, who has for my Dad who has terrible pain in his hands & fingers and when he watches TV he likes to put heating pads on them so I had hoped this remote would make life easier for him by being able to search for particular shows on his TCL Roku TV using ithis voice,. Sadly, all it will do is take you to a particular channel/app, i.e., Netflix. I ended up finding out about the Roku app that you download from Goog⁸le Play or Ape's version of Google Play and that is where you can say "Netflix" & the TV goes to Netflix and then once you are in the channel/app and use your voice to find whatever show you you want to watch. Not only can use your voice to get to the show you want, but you can go to a specific season and episode, i.e., "Heartland"ch, "Season 2", Episode 5" ! Tha level of voice function was why ( bought the remote so if that is your primary reason too then save yourself the money and download the free "Roku Remote" app! You will love it! On a positive note and why I gave it 2 stars is b/c asthetically, it's a nice, lightweight, non bulky remote that feels good in your hand allowing the "manual" functions .to work with ease! Just don't plan on the voice option to do any more that take you to a specific channel/app. I hope that helps!

We had to buy replacement remotes for 2 different Roku devices, since both of their remotes, the VOLUME quit working. Hope the new remotes last longer than the original ones...

Excellent remote with all the necessary features and without needless complications.

The voice search remote is awesome and a nice way to improve the Roku device I already have. Sometimes the search function has frozen, but it’s brief and resolves itself.

I should have bought two. Yes they will pair with any Roku tv, but now I am thinking of two more TVs.
