All that after I've bought tvs, refrigerators, laptops, phones, toaster ovens, microwaves, etc., for years.

Why would Roku think putting the volume and mute buttons on the side? Every time I picked it up to use, I hit one of these buttons. Also, why would they not offer one that is backlit? Another feature that is important to me. So, I took it back and purchased one with the features I wanted.

Purchased a voice remote to replace the control. We tried to program the voice remote to our Roku but after many tries following the directions, both for programming and troubleshooting, we could not get it to connect. We returned it and had to purchase a new Roku system.

Asked the sales person for for a roku system to set up in FL. Home while were are there. When we started to set it up in FL, I found out it was a VOICE REMOTE. Not what I asked for. We had to go to Best Buy in St. Petersburg, FL and this agent understood what we wanted.
