Artificial stupidity!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The only good thing about this remote is that it eliminates the need to point directly at the Roku TV and it does that well, which make it worth it. However the voice function is a joke. It makes cortana look smart. Can't find most of your inquiries. It's so stupid it must use artificial stupidity. AND, you can't search in apps. Want to search for youtube videos? Guess what? You still have to type inside the app. How stupid is that?

Defective!

Bought it to avoid the constant battery replacement but I have had to recharge this new remote 3 times in one week. And now I am having trouble getting it recharged at all. It may be a defective unit---Roku customer support could not provide immediate help but say they will 'research' the problem and get back to me.

We bought what should be a commodity in your business: a simple Roku remote. We held onto it because we were waiting to see if Roku would send us the rechargeable version. Which they did, eventually. We are aware that things take time these days so we waited patiently and kept the remote we purchased from you in the box. It finally arrived. We tried to return it to you and were told you have a 14 day return policy. We asked for a receipt when we purchased it and were told the receipt was printed on the box. Fine. But it said NOTHING ABOUT A 14 DAY RETURN POLICY. We're not out a bunch of money, so no big deal. But we're pretty much done shopping with you.
