I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT! I have been using roku for years and was really excited for this remote because of the volume control. The remote has such an overwhelmingly STRONG chemically smell that I can't even use it. I have not had a similar problem with other roku products before. The remote actually stinks up the entire room it's in. Anything it touches takes on the smell (including hands when using it). It smells like a car smells after being detailed but even stronger. I'm very concerned about whether it's even safe. I purchased the remote in July of 2022 and as of February 2023, the smell has not faded at all. This purchase ended up being a total waste of money as I don't feel that it is safe to use.

It's nice and convenient since you can charge it. Response time is not so fast. Lags a bit.

doesn't work well with HULU. Works ok for you tube or Disney.

We use the Comcast streaming app and found that it is a pain to search so many channels (most of the being useless). This remote allows us to voice sesrch for what we want. I down rated the product only because it did not come with a set of ear buds like the ones like the ones that come with the Roku Ultra.

I’ve gone through 2 of these!! They work great for my father with limited eyesight. But the failure rate is unbelievable. I called for a warranty and was told it shipped. Has not arrived been two weeks. I bought the extended warranty and plan on using it.

It would just stop working. Plugging it in to recharge seemed to wake it up where it would work for the day, then the next day the same thing would happen. Threw it out and got another with batteries.

This remote is good to use with the headset but when changing the channel it gets stuck and it runs through all the channels. Then when you press the stop button it brings up the guide to select the channel or channel list to chose the order.

It works great. I had a hard time finding one that works for my TCL tv. This remote works perfectly with my tv. I love the recharging instead of batteries. I recommend this for everyone .

very hard time getting it to work needed a geek to get it to work, then worked for a couple of days then I needed a geek to get it working again very disappointed !

Im glad that you dont need batteries. The down fall of the remote is that when you page the remote, it wont stop unless you leave the remote plugged in to charged all the time. The page on the remote is annoying when it keeps going off. This is why i give it 2 stars.

It gives me 2 additional buttons that I can use. That is fine.

Great addition I bought a 75 inch TV last Christmas but it did not come with a voice remote. It paired right up without issues works perfect very convenient love it.

works great with the cost of batteries which the original remote burns through at a tremendous rate when using the private listening feature its well worth the cost.

Definitely worth at least $15-$20 but not $35+. I’ve only had it for about a month or so but so far so good. Volume control is a little wonky every now and then but overall it’s good. I’ll update further down the road after I’ve had it longer.

I have had several performance issues with Roku, and have heard such from others. Amazon Fire seems to work better and has an easy to negotiate home page.

This remote started out great. Then the IR started dropping out. It can turn on the TV and control volume sometimes. There is nothing blocking the IR sensor on the TV. I checked it with my camera and the IR light does not illuminate on the remote when this happens. According to Roku message boards, I'm not the only one experiencing it. This started happening after 2 months. Hopefully it is just a bad batch and other remotes work fine.

Worked great for about a year then it quit charging. Looked online and lots of people having same issue. Would have been great if it had lasted longer.

My son loves to listen to TVs with headphones on, and this remote makes it extremely easy to pair some cheap headphones.

Excellent purchase!!!! And a perfect replacement for my original Roku Remote that did not come with the Voice feature!!

Got this remote to replace the one that came with it . I never used the original remote or connected it to our wifi . Come to find out i cant do nothing with this remote because I never connected the roku to wifi
