If I could give zero stars I would. Don't know if we got a defective one or if they all just suck. Either way money wasted

Works great for Roku but TV control, (volume, mute, and power) works when ever it pleases. Have reprogrammed half a dozen times.

My TCL TV came with a standard IR (infrared) remote. Such a disappointment. Switched to this remote and it made such a difference in enjoyment. Honestly, I wish they'd put this one in the box with the TV's, but I understand it is a way to make another 29.99 off of me. This remote has a switch to turn off the "listening" which I appreciate. Too many things we give permission to listen to us by a click and forget to deny later, this is a click/slider. I like the headphones for private listening. At first I thought it was silly, until I watched John Wick late at night and my husband was sleeping, HA! Now I listen this way a lot. The earbuds aren't terrible either. It does have the quick mute button, which is nicer than having to turn the volume up and down for commercials and ads. I like the two buttons that let me set up what I want to save. One I have to take me directly to the Live TV grid so I can scroll the menu to see what is on. The second is set for another channel I like. It is rechargeable and doesn't take batteries. This is where the subpar included TV remote comes in handy. If this one is low and needs to be charged... I can whip out the old one and use it in a pinch. So don't throw it out. Rechargeable has pros and cons. Overall, it is a nice and easy remote that feels very familiar to anyone who has used a Roku device. I also think it is a good remote for those who aren't tech savvy because they have the buttons that matter on it and not a lot of frills. I definitely recommend this as a secondary purchase!

Volume button stopped working after just a few months. Cannot return

Steer clear of these remotes, they don't work worth a darn. The volume never works, it is intermittent at best and when you use it it slides to full blast then down to mute.

Rechargeable remote for the Roku stick is great! Saves money on batteries and dont have to worry about the battery connections falling out! Good job Roku! Private listening and lost remote finding features are a major PLUS+++++

You can control the TV by saying “hey roku…” it will make noise if you lose it. And you can plug headphones in. The buttons are sensitive and get pushed pretty easily, but overall very happy with this purchase!

It's a great remote, with a good feel, lots of functions, and some programable options. However, it's exactly like the remotes that come with the Roku Ultra (and more of their other units), except that includes a rechargeable battery built in. The problem is that the remote at $30 is essentially the same as the Ultra one for half the price of the streamer and it's included remote. For the entry level remote this would be an upgrade over those included remotes, but those units are $20-30 and come with basic remotes. So you end up spending as much on a remote as you did for the system with a basic remote. Should be priced at $20 retail.

Not a replacement for (tv’s) with Roku. But the lady that work there told me to buy this one for a Roku tv replacement remote.

Love this remote! So much easier than the one that came with the Roku! The ability to hook up my own comfortable headset is a plus!

The remote paired easily with my Roku TV. I especially like that I can plug in ear buds.

Much better quality than the Roku remote that comes standard with a Roku TV. I highly recommend spending more for this remote that features the rechargeable battery. It lasts a very long time between charges, and the small premium spent over the non-rechargeable remote with be more than made up for in time by not having to purchase new batteries.

I've had mine for about 3 weeks now. Very happy with it. I agree that the volume coming out of the headphone port is pretty low and should be increased. I don't use the voice feature, so have the auto-listening turned off, and don't use the headphone jack much, so have to believe these are why other users have experienced fast draining of the battery. I charged mine the day I got it, and it hasn't been charged since. It's still at 75%, and we use it nightly. Bump the volume on the headphone port and you'll have 5 stars. I assume it's lower to reduce battery drain, but let it be my choice, not Roku's. On value, it would make sense that this device was included with the new Ultra. Poor choice to have your top of the line device come with your second best remote. I'd take a star away for that, but this is for rating the device, not the marketing decision.

Good controls for tv volume and on/ off. No more batterys.

Great easy to use Voice Remote! It even has "FIND MY REMOTE" capabilities!

Ease of use along with tv. I bought this for my sister who has an LG tv. This device works well with it. She’s able to change channels, etc.
