Remote glitches often, even after i restart the system

My Roku remote to my Roku Express stopped working. I bought this one for $29 minus $10 rewards for $19. It’s rechargeable, which is a really nice function. So I fixed the problem for $19 instead of buying another Roku unit for twice the price. And it was super easy to pair to my existing Roku unit. Gotta love Roku!

I bought this for the headphone and chargeable features. however, it wouldn’t work with my Roku Premiere. It does work with my other one, the streaming stick version.

It hold doesn't seem to hold a charge long, I would charge it up and my not use it right away( a few days later) I have to charge it again and I didn't us it yet. It may work better for someone who might use it sooner than I did after charging.

is a good unit, a bit high in price, but it is not made to last my last one only laster 4 months.

I needed a replacement for the renote my dog chewed up. Worked on the TV and was easy to set up

Returning it changes apps on its own right in the middle of a movie. When you want to change a certain app and press the app changer it sometimes jumps 2 to 3 ahead it is annoying when you are trying to load a movie and it goes to something entirely different, I know it’s probably a defective unit nothing to do with BB

The first charge lasted an adequate amount of time. However, after the forst charge of a few hours it kept showing that it was 10%. The past five times charging we kept it plugged in increasing from a few hours to a few days with the same result every time we tried to use it…less than 10% battery. Totally defective but could not return because it was past warranty. Also, why pay $50+ for Best Buy warranty to replace a remote that should work. We used to love our Roku TV, but the three newest TVs in the past two years we’ve avoided Roku since this remote is a waste. Disappointed does not even begin to describe our feelings.

It lasted a little over a year, then the button pushes began to lag then the right headphone channel stopped working. Contacted Roku, they said nope - no help. Go buy a new one.

Roku remote gives easy access to cable television.. Great buy!!

Constantly says it doesn't understand command or doesn't do anything at all. Requires you to be too specific with the command words. I give specific search commands to find movies or tv shows and it still doesn't find what I want. I have to constantly repeat myself with hands off or even using the voice button for it to 'listen'. I even yelled directly into the remote and it still doesn't acknowledge or understand a command. When I was trying to set up a shortcut the home screen went blank of all the tiles and the remote wouldn't do anything at all so I had to unplug the tv. Second day having remote I couldn't get the arrow buttons to move the channels up or down and once again had to power off the tv. It may have a lot of channels but most of them have the same movies. Most of the streaming Roku live channels play the same movies every single day. I don't understand why it isn't set up to recognize my sound bar which I have to use an optical cable because it doesn't have an HDMI port, so I have to use two remotes. I've had nothing but problems with the Roku tv(freezing up) and this useless remote. I'm returning the remote and will tell everyone I know not to buy the Roku products.

Your basic Roku remote with the addition of a rechargeable battery. Goes months between charges. Unfortunately, the battery refuses to charge after less than a year and Roku says they’ll only replace it if my device (not the remote but the device it’s pair to) is still under warranty. My roku is older so I’m out of luck.

Fantastic idea but definitely not perfected yet.. needs a little fine tuning. Love Best buy.

COULD USE A LIGHT IN BACK GROUND FIR NIGHT TIME CONTROL

Love this remote.But had a strange smell for a couple months.

My problem with all Roku remotes is that they all stop working rather quickly, I have had at least two others though I have bought so many I lost count. With this one, I figured it would be better since it is rechargeable and I didn't have to worry about changing the batteries every week or so. This worked great for about a month and then when I went to charge it, it charged but only with the television on and I had to use the charger from my roku streaming stick to charge it it does not come with its own cord. Then it just stopped charging. I bought this last November and it stopped working last year and I have been, as I have had to quite often, using the phone app to control the remote. It's really frustrating as the costs of this I could have purchased a whole new streaming device with the remote included.

For the first few weeks everything was fine. Then a few days ago the remote finder started to go off on its own. Even when I pushed the button on the remote to stop it started up again. Got no help from Roku except to replace the batteries which is impossible as it is rechargeable and does not use batteries. I am about to smash the remote with a hammer to keep it quiet.
