Voice worked without a hitch, battery life was excellent, and things just . . . worked. Shortly after it exceeded its return window, things headed south quickly. The battery life seemed to deplete very quickly (within two weeks of charge). When charging, the battery level would jump from 9% to 45% within seconds. My previous experience leads me to believe that there is a fault in the device's battery. Additionally, voice recognition / remote finder is now spotty at best. The "Hey Roku" doesn't trigger reliably anymore. Finally, the Micro-USB charging cord is very finicky. It requires a long plug, is prone to wobbling while plugged in (causing the charge to be interrupted), and doesn't always recognize when it is being charged. Stay away from this device! Stick with a lesser Voice remote, as they don't seem to offer this remote in a battery-only version unless you purchase a Roku TV.
