    I don’t like that you can’t use batteries. If you lose charge, it won’t work the second you plug it in. I’ve also tried two sets of ear buds snd I have issues with both. The sound cuts in and out. I still like the ability to use earbuds. I wish I could use Bluetooth, though, You can’t use a headset and charge at the same time.

    I bought the remote for the private listening port. Once I plugged in and into a speaker the volume was so low out of the speaker I could barely hear it. Even with the tv and speaker on max volume. Tried both Bose portable speaker and Bose headphones. The rechargeable battery worked great. I only used about 10% of the charge before returning the remote.

However, if you need support for multiple listeners, you can use private listening for up to 4 devices via the Roku mobile app.
