When I bought it I was apprehensive at first. I needed a fan for the hot summer months that could circulate the air in the bedroom with the AC running without taking too much space. When placed in front of a floor vent and allowed to run for ~15 min the temperature in the room noticeably dropped. The fan did the trick and spread the cool air out over the room. It does tilt from straight ahead to pointing directly at the ceiling so it should work for distributing heat in the room during winter as well. Only negative is without the AC on a box fan seemed more effective for pulling in air from outside.

Nice compact size for a bedroom and not too loud. Like that it has 3 different settings and does a great job a cooling down my room and circulates air well.

This is the second one we got for a bedroom; it’s pretty quiet, the hum actually helps you fall asleep and stay asleep; and it’s quite powerful for a small footprint. Point it away from the sleeper and it’s strong air current bounces off the walls and stirs the air indirectly. Really very nice. Also, not to tough to clean.

I was not sure about this, because it didn't oscillate. However, this "fan" moved the air around my entire room! It kept me cool even before the AC was on. And once the AC was on, it got the cold air everywhere in at least two rooms. I will be buying more of these for my other rooms. Highly recommended!

I know it’s more expensive but nothing else touches this fan’s ability to move air. It’s compact and powerful. We’ve already bought a second one for another area.

Would prefer to rate 4.5, not quite a full 5, but absolutely more than satisfied with the fan. Good air flow, cools a hot high ceiling-ed bedroom well.

Bought The Vornado I have purchased in the past ,thus I know the dynamics of vornado air movement I purchased this model because I Connected with Wemo and Google assistant thus put in Crawlspace and on/off with either voice or wemo app. Manual switch set at 2 middle, medium speed. Please note with wemo app and switches can connect other fans on at same time or individually remotely or scheduled. Remember that touch control switches default to low or high mostly off in other words once turned off , must touch control again to turn on and won't work unless you touch the on/off settings. Rated 5 stars perfect fan universal applications. Love the manual switch.

This is a wonderful fan. It gives out so much cool air. While waiting for my air conditioner to be install, I purchased this fan. It gave better air from the fan even better than the air conditioner. For the size and price, a wonderful add. Went to buy more but the store was sold out. I want more of these fans in my house.

Oh my, talk about tornado! This fan cools my whole bedroom better than a fan three times its size.

This fan is the perfect travel buddy, i use this as a portable fan for when i work in the warehouse. The fan is plugged into a battery pack with a 6AH discharge. on the low setting i am able to get 4-5hrs of run time. on the high setting i get 2 hrs of run time. Very respectable run time based on the size and the amount of air it moves. Ideal for small areas, desk fan, or something on the go with an external battery pack.

Small and quiet. It pushes air well but it's still a little small for a bedroom (10x15) so I got the 630 instead.

My husband and I were surprised the second we turned it on. We immediately felt the difference in our living room. We have central air but the rooms are closed off and one room is always hotter then the other.

This fan is great. Small and powerful !! Puts about a great amount of air. Can be angled up with ease.

Louder than it's pedestal version, but compact and effective a circulating air within a room. Not great at cross ventilation. I think the pedestal version is a superior product, but does take more space and costs more. The speed controls popped off the back of the fan at some point. It was easy enough to put back on, but it's reliant on a low quality connection mechanism.

This is a very powerful, yet small fan. It easily mover the air in a 12'x12' or 15'x15' room. Good value.

I use this fan in my bedroom in Summer to provide good airflow. So far it's been great, and it's not too loud at setting 1 which is what I use it for. Setting 2 and 3 get louder, which is why I use setting 1 for sleeping. I want a fan that will last, and this Vornado is very well built. I don't think you can go wrong if you want good air flow at minimal levels.

My Ac went out and this little inexpensive fan was a life saver. I bought a couple since the price was so good. They are really quiet but they do have a lot of force to them Great purchase

This fan does great. It is just as good as a tin bladed fan, blow very cool air. I will recommend this fan to everyone. Its is worth your money. I want to buy a larger one. I am planning on order some for my kids. Vornado brand are great, I also has two heater made by this brand had no problem. I love it...

I like this little fan! It’s perfect for my bedroom… it helps keep the air circulating and keeps it cool

Hot summers in Texas, sometimes a room needs a little help, this is defenaly the way to go! I got one for my son, who is a gamer so the room gets hot. I thought about buying an extra one just in case.
